Today at breakfast, we decided to go into town and shop around a bit.
Our first stop was a strip of boutiques and baby clothes stores.

Mom obviously had to go into every single one, which was 3 total. She ended up walking out with 2 bags full of things for our future children.
Miyagi and I had to reluctantly give our opinions, since the whole thing was ridiculous.
I did enjoy imagining Miyagi trying to handle little kids running around him and yelling, one holding onto his leg as he tries to walk.
One woman who was pregnant and walking, holding a little boy's hand asked us if I was pregnant and we were planning ahead.
Miyagi and I were so embarrassed.

"NONONO NO NO NO" Miyagi and I say together shaking our hands rapidly and shaking our heads.

"We're but engaged, only teenagers, not yet adults" I give to Miyagi to tell the woman.
"She asked why we're engaged if we're still teenagers" Miyagi relays her message.

"Tell her that we're about to graduate and plan to get married in the future. We just needed to solidify the commitment" I tell him.

She 'Ohhh''s in understanding.
She asks why I don't speak Japanese.
I try my best to respond in Japanese saying, "I am from England studying abroad with my friend here."
She surprisingly understood me.

With wishes of luck, we said our good day's.

Passing through all of the beautiful shops, Mom fixed her eyes on one particular store.... the jewelry store.
Mom insisted I pick out a ring, but my dads and I were very in decline.
The Yamashita's wouldn't leave without us getting rings, Mom said it was 'the symbol of love'.

We finally reluctantly agreed to get our engagement rings.
I picked out a solid rose gold band and Miyagi picked out a solid gold band.
Our parents split the total cost and were oddly happy about it.
Strolling past the rest of the shops, rings on our fingers, together, the reality of our engagement had really set in within us both.
It was a pleasant realization, knowing you'll have someone to love you when you can't love yourself, someone to notice you crying in the shower, someone to push you when you feel like giving up.

<LONG TIME SKIP>
(December 24th- Christmas Eve)

We're all surrounding the christmas tree, Miyagi and I with our rings on and matching christmas sweaters.
Yuki and Jade have become friends over kpop and are talking to eachother about video conspiracies...?

Mom sets up her camera and we take a picture in front of the tree to send my dads. She also takes lots of pictures with her phone to post on social media.

Miyagi and I have become more comfortable kissing I front of others (even our families). We take polaroid pictures of us kissing and standing in front of the tree for me to keep in my secret drawer.
Our families had talked over the past months about me moving in with the Yamashitas for good. Miyagi and I have talked about how we want our wedding. We've decided to get married where I want, the same cherry blossom park where my dads were married.
As for college, Miyagi will attend a school in Kobe, Japan, majoring in Political Studies and strive to enter the Journalism field. I will finish high school and enroll to the same college, with a foreign language major (language undetermined).
We'd like to travel and experience all types of cultures.

MIYAGI FACT : His birthday is December 2nd. He is currently 17. Chloe is 15. I totally messed up the ages in this story.
