Getting Set

(A/N: Y'all must hate me for updating then running away for like 3 weeks. Truth is, I'm really sick now and I thought i have time to work on this. I know only Ali and John read this but thats okay. This chapter will be dads skyping with kickthesticks and the date + some other quick sweet things. JOHN YOU ARE NOT MIYAGI-YOU ARE NOTHING LIKE HIM-DONT SPECULATE!! Listening to mel while writing. (Skype call)
Its 10:15 pm, just like we scheduled. Jade and I are in our room, on my bed, with my laptop in front of us. Bear said we can call now.

The call goes through as the camera loads. I see my dads sitting next to each other smiling wide-eyed excitedly.

Chris and Peej are there too! They seem happy to see us. Oh wait, they don't know about Jade and I.

"Heyyy guys, what's up? Nice to see you Peej and Chris!", I say a bit worried.
"As to you, Chloe. Is that your friend that went with you? She looks so cute!", Pj says as all of us look a little worried and hesitant.
"Thank you, Sir. My name is Jade -she pauses to look at me and we nod at eachother- I'm Chloe's girlfriend.", She says wincing as if about to be hit.
This statement leaves the couple in disbelief and shock.
They immediately start firing stupid questions at us.
"How old are you? When's your birthday? How long have you known each other? What's your full name? Who asked who? How long have you been dating? Have you kissed yet?", Pj and Chris ask going back and forth between questions.

"14 - August 14th - Since last October - Jade Marie Hamilton - I asked her - Since December - May 17th - ...Yes.", she says amswering in order quickly.
Even I don't remember that!
"Y-Yeah, we kinda forgot to tell you guys?", Bear says scratching his head.
"Hey, dont drag me into this!", Papa says smacking the side of Bear's head.

During the talk, they all announced they'd be flying here for a week in May.
We talk more until 10:57 pm and tell them we have to get to bed.

Jade and I get in our beds after our nightly routines and talk about what we think will happen on my date with Miyagi.

"If he trys anything, you text me immediately, okay?", Jade says sternly looking over to me.

"He won't. You don't need to worry, I'll be fine. I'll text you throughout the date, okay?", I say sitting up, walking over to her bed, sitting to hug her.

We lay down, fingers intertwined.

"We'll make it through this... together.", I say smiling, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

I wake up, tucked in,  Jade in my bed, me in hers, and a note on our dresser.

The note says : "Good luck, Chloe. I hope you have fun today on your date with Miyagi today. You fell asleep in my bed last night, so  I tucked you in and just slept in your bed. Fight!" - Jade °°

I get ready with my dress on and put on some black mary janes with maroon over the knee socks and a maroon cardigan.

I put a black headband on, leaving my side bangs out, letting my hair cover the sides of the headband.

(Time - 9:26 am)

Mom has made breakfast and set it out for us.
Mr. Yamashita is reading the paper in his pj's while drinking coffee and eating breakfast.
