Getting Ready

(A/N: Yo, this has been put off for too long and Ali is complaining soooo here. Also, it's not much phan anymore, it's more Chloe's personal fanservice. I'm listening to Troye Sivan's Blue Neighborhood Deluxe while writing this. I promise to eventually get to the school chapter (I say as I go to read a fanfic) I have a birthday party with sleepover tomorrow so I'll write when I'm there maybe. Hope you're okay with the inbetween crap.)

(Jade and Mom Washing Dishes)
"You're a really good cook, miss", Jade says while drying the wet soapy dishes with a rag.
"Why thank you, I try my dear. I want you to be happy here and think of this as your own.", Mom says sweetly.
"Can you tell me about Miyagi and Yuuki? What are they like? What do they like? Does Miyagi like Chloe?", Jade says bombarding her with questions out of pure interest and excitement.

"Woah there, slow your roll. Miyagi is like a gentle giant, tall but sweet and caring. He likes sweets, bike rides to school, writing, and yes, Chloe. Yuuki, on the other hand, is what you would call distant. She tends to shy from crowds and doesn't like showing her personality and emotions to new people or people she doesn't trust. She likes drama, music, drawing, school, but also having fun.", Mom says breathing quickly.

"Miyagi likes Chloe, for real?", Jade says disregarding everything else Mom mentioned.
"Yes, why?"
"Oh no reason, it just seems pretty obvious"

(Shopping for Snacks and Clothes)

Miyagi, Yuuki, Jade, Mom and I are downtown shopping at an office supplies store.
The time is 12:47 pm and the sky is slightly overcast with blue sky and sunshine peeking through gaps in the clouds every now and then. The air is cool for the most part until the warmth of the sun radiates during it's visible passing periods.
Mom has walked off to the grocery store not too far away as we look for school supplies.

"Hey Chloe, look at this!", Miyagi shouts slightly, holding a package of pencils with pink, red, purple, and blue pastel cute bear patterns printed on them as well.
"How much are they?", I ask him with a smirk.
"Only 155 yen! Plus, there are 4 so we could each have one.", He says trying to get entice me with the idea of fair and equal share.
"Deal. I call the blue one.", I say taking it from his hand and putting it in the basket.

Our skin lightly skims each other's and Miyagi looks down in shock with a rosy pink climbing to his cheeks as he walks away flustered.
I snicker as I continue browsing the aisles.

Jade picks out 3 pastel pink and purple notebooks, a package of 12 blue mechanical pencils, 3 food shaped erasers, a multiple section folder, and a black tinted water bottle which she came to the total of 1,937 yen.
