Good to be Home

"What the hell do you want now Damon!" I yelled at him from the top of my lungs at the Salvatore Mansion.

"How are you alive ass-hat!" He yelled back at me, both of us drunk out of our minds.

"I don't know dumbass I just... I just remember dying... And pain" I said quietly.

"It's Klaus... It has to be... You aren't supposed to be here" Damon said, his eyes glazing over.

"Suck it up softy because I'm here now" I said, internally confused as to why Klaus would even bother to save me.

Stefan walked through the front door with Elena before stopping, seeing me standing there.

"Hey bunny boy!" I said happily before speeding over to him and hugging him, instantly sobering up... Damon, not so much.

At first he still stood there until he literally squeezed me practically to death.

"Amelia? H- why? How!" Elena said shocked yet happily at the same time as she hugged me.

"I have no idea... Where's Jeremy!" I said quickly.

"Um... Last time I saw him he was at home in his room..." Elena said sadly.

"I'll be back later!" I called and walked out before vein burned. I screamed before I pulled back, confused again as to what was going on.

"Get Jeremy over here" I commanded Damon... That was until Elena decided to do it herself as she already had Jeremy on the phone.

"Jer! Get over here now... It's important" she said trying to contain her happiness in order to keep my surprise at bay.

"Just leave me alone Elena" he said, everyone hearing the depression in his voice.

I looked down before I held my hand out for the phone. Elena gave it to me without a second thought as I placed it up to my ear.

"Jeremy" I said softly. "I'm here... Please come over" I finished waiting for him to come over.

"Who the hell are you! What kind of sick joke is this!" He yelled into the phone.

"It's not... This isn't a joke Jeremy... I'm really here but I can't leave because I don't have my daylight ring" I explained hoping he would agree to come.

"Oh my god" he said, his voice breaking as he said his words. "I'm coming" he said as I could hear him practically running down the stairs and out the door.

I smile to myself as I hung up the phone and handed it back to Elena. I sighed before I sat down, followed by everyone else sitting down as well.

We all sat in silence, looking at each other as we mentally tried to figure out how I was still alive. Since the door was unlocked, as always it seemed, Jeremy burst through the door and ran into the living room, stopping in his tracks as he saw me.

"Jeremy" I said lightly as I ran over to him and kissed him as he kissed me back.

Damon cleared his throat and I pulled back as I laughed a little and then hugged Jeremy, him returning the hug back to me.

"Oh be quiet Damon and live in the moment would you!" I said happily before sitting back down next to Stefan, my head on his shoulder.

"We should call Bonnie... She should know what happened and give you another daylight ring" Stefan said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"I still can't believe you're... here! Everyone is going to be so happy!" Elena said smiling.

"Bonnie... Bonnie call Bonnie... How is she? Didn't she like, defeat Klaus! I hope he's rotting in hell" I said deviously before smiling.

"On it" Damon said finally sobering up and speaking again as he left the room.

"Woah woah woah... hold up. How are you alive!" I said to Elena as it just crossed my mind.

"John gave his life for mine. Bonnie cast a spell." Elena said looking down at her hands as Stefan then wrapped his arms around her.

"Awww... I wasn't done torturing him... But I'm happy you're alive" I said before Damon came back in and said Bonnie was on her way.

Until Bonnie walked in, we were all sitting in comfortable silence; Stefan sitting next to Elena, me sitting in between Stefan and Jeremy, and Damon sitting in the chair across from us.

"Oh my gosh... I didn't think it was true!" Bonnie said rushing over and standing me up so she could give me a big hug.

"I've missed you... What exactly happened when you defeated Klaus" I said pulling back from the hug.

"Um... About that" Bonnie said with a dry laugh.

I looked at her, waiting for her to finish.

"Elijah kind of... Um... Stopped us by taking Klaus with him" Bonnie said before holding her hands out in a 'TA DA!' form as I stood there shocked.

"And there's the icing on the cake!" I said laughing it off rather than being pissed.

"Yeah... And we have absolutely no idea where he is. My locator spell isn't working for them" Bonnie said annoyed that the spell wasn't working.

"And that's the cherry on top!" I said before I sat back down in between Stefan and Jeremy.

"So I heard you were in need of a daylight ring?" She said smiling.

"Hell yes... It was a struggle just getting in here! Then I kind of got drunk so then I was okay with it" I said before I smiled at Damon considering he was with me at the time.

"Alright, do you have a ring for me?" She said sitting down and opening her spell book she brought with her.

"Um... No... Wait!" I said before dodging the light and running to my room. Hoping everything was still there.

I threw things everywhere as I tried to find a ring of some sorts, knowing that I had a collection of Lapiz Lazuli

(I CANT REMEMBER HOW TO SPELL IT... CONTINUE ON) items incase this ever happened to one of us. I finally found it under a mountain of clothes before choosing my favorite ring, a blue Lapiz lazuli rock in the center that is boarders with red and black bands, before dodging the light again to make my way to everyone.

"Alright done" Bonnie said once her spell was over.

"I forgot how fast that spell worked" I said taking my ring and putting it on.

I walked towards the window carefully before I cautiously stuck my hand in the sun.

"Yes!" I said happily before speeding outside.

"I never knew a ring would make you so happy" Damon said as they all came outside after me.

"It does since I haven't been alive or outside for less than a day.... It's good to be home" I said smiling at the people before me.
