Short Detention

"Good morning" I said turning over to look at Jeremy.

"Hey" he said tiredly before smiling down at me.

"I've missed you... So much" I said giving him a small kiss.

"I've missed you more, trust me" he said before he got out of bed.

"Where are you going?" I said watching him.

"You mean where are WE going? To school" he said getting dressed.

"Noooo! I just got back and I am not going to live in more torture" I said complaining.

"Come on, we're going to be late" he said holding a hand out for me.

"No" I said crossing my arms.

"Fine" he said walking out before he yelled for Damon.

"No, absolutely not!" I said as Damon came closer to me.

"Get your ass up and out of this bed before I push you off again" he said holding his hands in a pushing position.

"Never!" I said moving farther from him as Jeremy stood at the frame of the door.

"Nice try" Damon said before quickly pushing me off of the bed and onto the floor.

"Son of a!" I yelled as my butt hit the ground.

"Told you to get up" Damon said in a sing song manner before he spoke to Jeremy, "She should be up and at 'em now"

"Asshat" I muttered under my breath before I got dressed and walked downstairs.

"Please tell me my car is still where I left it" I said speeding over to the garage.

"Don't worry, it's fine..." Damon said making me worried before I opened the door and saw my car, still in mint condition.

"Oh my baby!" I said hugging the car.

"Hey!" Jeremy said jokingly before I told him to hop in as I hopped into the driver seat.

"Do we have to go to school?" I asked one more time to see if he would change his answer.

"Yes now drive" Jeremy said laughing at my attempt to not go to school.

~At School~

We both got out of my car, having parked in the back so no one could see me back again.

"Alright I have to go talk to a teacher. Love you" he said kissing me before walking away.

'Now or never' I said to myself as I walked into school, already hearing the murmurs and whispers of the other students.

"Ahhhh!!!!!!" Caroline screamed to me before embracing me in a hug.

"Hey!" I said, thankfully not toppling over with the force of the hug.

"When and how?" Care said pulling back.

"Yesterday and I honestly have no clue" I said before she waved by.

"Mrs. Salvatore! Great for you to join us again" Coach Tanner said sarcastically. Why can't I just kill him already!

"Hey" I whispered to Jeremy before sitting down in my seat next to him.

"No talking Amelia!" Tanner barked at me.

"Can you shut up" I groaned at him.

"Detention" he said simply before carrying on with class.

"Fun...." I said before smiling at Jeremy who was shaking his head.

~Lunch~

"How was your day?" Stefan asked me.

"Um... Well... You see, I kind of got detention from Tanner" I said before taking a sip of water.

"Nice! How'd you pull that off?" Matt asked me smiling.

"I told him to shut up..." I replied as I threw my lunch away.

"Yo... You got some major problems" Tyler said jokingly.

"When is your detention... I have it too. Apparently teachers don't like me being late to class. It's not my fault I have to fix my make up!" Caroline explained, making us shake our heads and laugh.

"Today actually, after school with Mr. T"

"Yay! Me too!" Care said excitedly.

"So, after you two serve your detention... How about we hang out at the Grill?" Elena suggested.

"Totally!" Caroline said happily.

"I can't... I have to go to my dads" Bonnie said sadly.

"Awwww... Bon Bon!" I said, sad too that she couldn't go.

"I'm sorry!" She said before the bell rang.

"Adios muchachos" I said before heading to my next class.

~Detention~

"Alright! No talking, no texting, no leaving! Get it. Got it. Good!" Tanner spoke before he sat down.

I looked at Caroline as she looked at me and we both smiled before I grabbed a pencil and started to tap it on the desk.

"Mrs. Salvatore! Stop the tapping right now!" Mr. T snapped.

"Alright" I said shrugging before I threw it at the board, the pencil becoming lodged in the board as Mr. T looked shocked that it almost missed his head.

He stood up and looked furiously at me before Caroling bursted into fits of giggles.

"I have had it up to HERE WITH YOU!" He yelled at me before he walked over to me and grabbed my arm and started to take me out of the class room.

That was until I shoved him up against the wall and said, "You will let Caroline and I go, you will be nicer to EVERYONE from now on, and you will forget this ever happened"

"Yay!!!" Caroline said hopping up and walking out of the classroom with me.

"That was the shortest detention ever" I said laughing before we hopped in my car, Jeremy getting a ride from Stefan, and headed to the Grill.
