Hybrids Go Wrong

"Mmmmm 5 more minutes" I said when Klaus turned the lights on.

"Chop chop" he said as I heard him rustling around.

"We didn't.... We did!" I said shocked when I remembered last night.

"Let's go" he said throwing me my clothes.

"Damn..." I muttered before getting dressed.

"Time to go check on our little friend shall we?" He said holding out the door for me.

I shrugged before kissing him, walking out after we pulled apart.

Might as well.

"Are you awake!" I yelled banging on the trunk.

"I heard nothing so I'm gonna assume he's not waking up yet" I said shrugging before we both headed to the location of his pack.

I mentally cursed Klaus out. He's making me carry an unconscious man beast all the way up the mountain!

"You ok? Is Ray getting heavy?" He said glancing behind me.

"I'm fine" I said simply.

"You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..." Klaus said, smiling his arrogant smile.

"You know, I get that we uh... had sex together, but if we could maybe just skip the chit chat at the moment, it'd be great" I said glaring at him.

"So much brooding. Your self-loathing is suffocating you" he said smirking.

"Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer" I said groaning.

"Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack. There"

"Finally!" I said walking into the camp and setting him down.

"Ray! Oh, my God. What's going on? Who are you?" A woman said running over to Ray.

"The important question is who am I. Please forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus" he said as I rolled my eyes, leaning against a tree.

"You're the hybrid" she said backing away.

Klaus smiled and said, "You've heard of me. Fantastic"

"It's fascinating, actually... A werewolf who isn't beholden to the moon, a vampire who doesn't burn in the sun. A true hybrid" he said looking down to Ray.

He starts to move slightly and groan.

"Excellent timing, Ray. Very dramatic" I said standing up from the tree.

"What's happening to me" he said getting up slowly.

"Are any of you human? Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to vampire. If he doesn't get it, he will die... as in end of the line. No longer breathing. Nothing at a-" I said before Klaus cut me off and said, "I think they get the point sweetheart"

"Doesn't take much, just a sip. Anyone? A boyfriend, a girlfriend, along for the ride?" I said.

Everyone looked around before I looked at one man in particular.

"You. Over here. Now" I said pointing to the space right beside me.

He does so and Klaus strangles the girl that he was standing next to her as she tried to protest.

I lowered the human to the ground, arm in front of Rays mouth even though he didn't drink.

"If you don't drink it, Ray, I will. Problem is I don't know how to stop" I said before forcing him to drink.
