~ABANDONED WITCH HOUSE~

"Yeah, Elijah and two others and this one... is the one we can't open. We don't know who is in it, or what's in it, only that I think my dream's telling me it'll help us kill Klaus" Bonnie said as I stomped downstairs.

"What the hell are you doing?" I demanded.

"I needed her to know about the coffin" she protested.

"And I needed you to keep her out of it, Bonnie" I snapped.

"So what are you gonna do, Amelia? Are you gonna kidnap me, so that I won't tell anyone?" Elena seethed.

I dry laughed, "Don't tempt me, Elena"

"I think I know who can open the coffin, Amelia. And I need Elena to help me find her" Bonnie said shifting her weight between each foot.

"Find who? What are you talking about?" I said leaning against the wall.

"I couldn't place her face at first. Then I realized..." Bonnie trailed before pulling out a photo.

"Oh my god, Bonnie" Elena said looking from the picture to Bonnie.

"Abby?" I whispered to myself as I got a glimpse of the photo.

"You know my mother?" Bonnie said looking at me.

"More like knew, but yeah. We have a history" I replied.

"Do you know where she is?" Elena asked me.

"No" I said flatly.

"Then we have to look for her" Bonnie said as they scurried off.

I stood there for several minutes before dropping my gaze from the coffins as I sighed and left.

~THE GILBERT HOUSE~

"You know, you don't have to, right? Let Amelia obsess over opening up the coffin. It doesn't have to fall on you" Elena said.

"The coffin is spell shut. That makes it a witch problem. So it does fall on me. I was bound to see my mother again sooner or later" Bonnie replied.

"Make it sooner; Abby Bennett Wilson, Monroe, North Carolina. Born in Mystic Falls Hospital, graduated at Mystic Falls High... blah blah blah" I said plopping a file on the table.

"FYI, a little compulsion helps sped up the research process" I added crossing my arms over my chest.

"This is her" Bonnie said flipping through the pages.

"Yep, road trip, I call shotgun!" I smiled.

"Yea-No" Elena said.

"Why? I'm the one who found her. I know her personally too!" I whined.

"Okay, Amelia, look. Bonnie hasn't seen her mom in over 15 years. We don't need your snarky commentary narrating the experience" Elena said sternly.

"I'm coming whether or not it's with you or not with you. Got it?" I said before leaving.

~SALVATORE BOARDING HOUSE~

"What are you doing here, Klaus?" I groaned.

"Enjoying our stalemate" he responded.

"What do you want?" I cut to the chase.

"The question is what do you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded, so please tell me what I need to do to get my family back" he asked standing up.

"Well, see... Niklaus...I'm not negotiating" I pepped up.

"And you understand that holding them indefinitely is the same thing as dropping them in the ocean?" he asked walking closer to me.
