"Welcome back to Chicago sweetheart. I know how much you loved it here. Bring back any of your old ripper days?" Klaus said as we stepped out of the car.

"Blacked out remember. All of this was just a fuzzy little fuzz ball. Well, I do remember the bar scene... Is this the same bar!" I said pointing to the bar on the corner.

"That's a shame really. The other details always made the best legends" he said.

~Flashback: A Bar in Chicago, 1920~

I was outside a bar with some random man, draining his blood of course. I let him fall limp to the ground before I wiped the excess blood off my lips. I smirked and walked into the bar, hoping to have many drinks tonight.

"Guess who my eyes have just spied, gentlemen? Looking for a good time, Miss Salvatore?" Gloria said, interrupting her song to talk into the mic.

"There's only one reason I came" I said as I clicked my heels all the way to the bar.

I smiled at the bartender before reaching to grab a bottle of Bourbon, accidentally touching hands with the guy next to me who was also reaching for the bottle.

"Oh please um... help yourself" I said looking at the guy before he said, taking the bottle, "Thank you sweetheart"

He looked at me for a few more seconds before kissing me fully on the lips, catching me off guard.

"Be careful love, you were still wearing your date" He stated as he started to walk away.

I caught his arm before he got too far and said, "Wait, what is your name?" He smirked and looked

He smirked at me before he said, "I'm Klaus"

He looked at me once before walking away, leaving with the bottle of Bourbon.

~End of Flashback~

"Chicago was magical" Klaus said smiling.

"Well I'll take your word for it. Like I said, don't remember much" I said popping my lips at the end.

"Let's get down to business then" he said afterwards.

"Why am I still here? Why not move on? We had fun with the hybrids, why not move on?" I said walking over and leaning against a building.

"We're going to meet our favorite witch" Klaus said directing me to Gloria's bar on the corner.

I looked around, in awe of how many things stayed the same.

"So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to a bartender..." Klaus says smiling up a storm.

"You may be the invincible type, but you were never the funny type" Gloria said giving Klaus a hug, the whole bar empty.

"Shouldn't you be-" I said before she cut me off.

"Dead? Yes. But I'm a witch and I want to live long. Sue me if I use a little magic" she said before giving me a hug.

"Why don't you go fix us a little something?" Klaus said looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"Um... sure" I said as I walked behind the bar and grabbed a bottle of Bourbon, the memory of Klaus and I fresh in my mind.

"Here" I said sliding a glass of Bourbon to him.

"Thank you sweetheart" he said downing it.

"So what am I doing wrong? I broke the curse" Klaus said looking to Gloria.

"Well obviously. Look, every spell has a loophole. A curse that old though... We'd have to contact the witch that created it" she said patting her hands on the bar two times.
