Chapter 21:
Sophie wasn't awake. Sophie was gone. Sophie was drowning. Sophie was... who was she? What was her name? It began with... she was who? She was a human. No. She was an elf. She was... strong. She was supposed to be strong. But she.. something happened. She wasn't strong enough. That thought brought back a fresh wave of guilt, and she let this one sink her, too exhausted to keep up the fight. Her last thought was a pair of piercing teal eyes. And then she was gone.
