*August p.o.v*

I looked at the screen of my phone, it was exactly 7:17.

The sun peeked out from behind the dark clothes and night was beginning to fade into a new morning. I tossed the blankets aside, letting my feet touch the carpeted floor. I made my way to the kitchen, rummaging through her cabinets until I found two bowls along with two spoons. I opened her fridge, which was basically empty. I found milk and frosted flakes. I poured the cereal into both bowls and poured in some milk. I walked towards June's door, carrying both bowls. I used my knee to tap at her closed bedroom door. I heard groaning on the other side followed by footsteps approaching the door. Finally, she opened the door with a sleepy look on her face.

"You're up early,".

She moved to the side, letting me inside. She plopped down on her bed.

"Well I hafta' ta go home first ta get ready fa school, an' take May ta school,".

"You can get ready here,".

"What ima wear?".

"I have some clothes that my frie-,".

"I ain't wearing ya lil' boyfriend clothes,".

She smirked looking up at the two bowls of cereal in my hand.

"You made me breakfast?".

I laughed. "Yea' somethin' like dat,".

"Thank you so much, I hope it wasn't much trouble," She responded sarcastically, grabbing the bowl from my hands. "Sit down for a minute,".

I sat down beside her, looking over at her. She didn't say anything, she just looked at me.

"I want to kiss you August,".

I smiled. "So kiss meh',".

"I haven't brushed my teeth yet," She mumbled, looking away with a smirk toying at her lips.

"So,".

I leaned over kissing her lips lightly before moving back.

"Yea' brush ya teeth,".

She hit my shoulder, laughing.

"You're disrespectful, get out," She continued laughing.

"Iigh' be on time fa' school Ms. Aiko,".

"I'll try," She joked, standing up from her bed and following behind me as we made our way to the front door.

Suddenly someone knocked at her front door, causing her to grab my arm and pull me behind her.

"Who is it?" She asked aloud.

"Who else would it be?" The voice sounded back. "It's Sean baby,".

She glanced back at me, eyeing her bedroom. I looked down at her, an annoyed look on my face.

"Just go in the closet for five minutes, please," She whispered.

"Nah ima stand right hea'" I responded.

"Yo June open the door," Sean said, knocking on her door again.

"Please August. Please,".

I sucked my teeth, going into her room and ducking into her small closet.

"I'm coming Sean," She said, looking back at me one last time to make sure I actually went into the closet.

She opened the door and he pushed pass her, walking into the kitchen.

"Who else in here?".

"No one Sean, why are you here?" She asked with attitude.

I smiled to myself, I really didn't like this nigga.

"I brought breakfast," He smiled, holding up two McDonald's bags.

I sucked my teeth again. "Corny ass nigga," I mumbled to myself.

"I don't care Sean, I have to get ready for work,".

"Let me help you," He retorted, grabbing her waist and pulling her into him. "Look, you feel that? Baby I miss you. Only you can make me hard like this baby,".

"Sean," She moaned, closing her eyes.

"Did she just moan," I thought to myself. I was beyond pissed off.

"See baby you want it just as bad as I do. Just give me five minutes,". He kissed her ear softly.

"Sean, no stop," She said, opening her eyes and moving away from him. "You gotta go,".

"Why are you acting like this? Two days ago you had me eat you-,".

"Sean go,".

"Fine, but I'm coming back later,".

"Don't,".

"I am," He mumbled, leaving out of her apartment.

I opened her closet door, stepping out. I walked pass her, nearing the door. She grabbed my arm lightly.

"August are you upset,".

"Ya still love dat nigga?".

"August we've been together for years, how do you expect all those feelings I have for him to just go away?".

"Well he can have ya, I'm not gonna be ya side nigga iigh',".

"August I don't want you to be that okay? I really like you August,".

"Then leave dat' nigga alone,".

"August I can't just leave him like that. It's not that simple,".

"It is simple. Either ya want him or ya want meh',".
