Harry's POV

Scarlet woke up from next to me, her distance kept. She rolled over to face me.

Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled.

"Morning beautiful." I whispered, while tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"Morning Harry." She whispered. I leaned in slightly, my lips slightly pucked.

"What are you doing?" She asked me.

I chuckled, but inside, I was hurt.

"Nothing..." I said, "I just... I'm sorry. I guess I just want you and you can't trust me."

She sent me an, 'are you serious' look, "What the hell? Harry, I do trust you! I just... I don't know. I'm obviously not good enough."

My heart felt like it broke.

"I hope you're fucking joking." I fumed.

"Harry-"

"Don't! Don't say it!" I closed my eyes. I was now out of bed, pacing up and down my room. Scarlet was worriedly sitting up in bed, clutching the sheets.

"S-s-say what?" Her voice was shaky.

"That you can't love me! Actually, say it! Say the truth!" I screamed. Her face twisted in anger and she shook her head.

"I can't fucking believe you right now." She tried to say strongly, but it was weak.

"Say it!" I screamed again. I was furious at that point, and I didn't know why.

"Harry, please stop!" She cried as I tugged on my hair.

It was at that exact moment, that I had realised I was scaring her.

"Scarlet." I whispered.

"I understand... You got angry..." She was shaking terribly.

"No... I'm sorry. I just..." I trailed off.

A knock was heard at my door.

"Is everything alright in here?" Louis came in, worry written in his blue eyes.

Scarlet didn't say anything, neither did I. I just sat in the corner, as far as I could from her. I didn't deserve her at the moment.

I hadn't realised that my legs had picked me up and taken me to the front door until I was opening it. And so I ran. I didn't know where exactly, but at the moment, I needed to get far, far away.

Scarlet's POV

Harry ran out, so did I.

I couldn't help myself. Honestly, I can see myself falling for this guy. I have fell for him. Just slower than normal girls would.

And I just don't want to admit it. I can't afford another heartbreak.

I ran far, as fast as my legs could take me. I didn't care about the fact that I was in my pyjamas- I just needed to find Harry. My Harry.

I ran as fast as I could through the empty roads and I stepped on something hard. I glanced down, and recognise the object straight away.

Harry's ring. The one he always wore.

I picked up the ring with curiosity. I looked both ways. To my left, was woods. To my right was an alley.

I decided to take my left, the forest. I ran through with great speed, the bushes and fallen sticks piercing into my skin. I could feel them making scratches on my leg but I didn't care. I had to find him.

Sure, what he did scared the shit out of me. It gave me flashbacks. But, there's this... connection with Harry - and I'm willing to find out what it is.

I kept running, scratches, and blood ran down my skin. I tripped around a couple of times, over my feet, but I had to see if he was in here.

I decided to take a stop, a breather. This guy was going to be the death of me.

I leant against a tree, catching my breath. I couldn't help the tears that fell from my eyes and slashed my cheeks.

I could feel a presence nearby and I heard fallen leaves and sticks crunching as the person walked. I turned to where the footsteps were coming from. A dark, tall silhouette appeared, making my heart pound furiously against my chest. I gulped and took steps back. I could feel my stomach swirling and my body shaking.

"Scarlet?"

The voice was way to familiar.

"H-Harry?" I stuttered.

He looked at his feet as he came into full view.

"Scarlet... I'm sorry..." He breathed in and stepped towards me, "I didn't mean to scare you... But I just love you so much, and I'm sorry about it."

I just stood there and looked at my hands, in deep thought.

"Scarlet-"

"Let's just go." I cut him off. He sighed and grabbed my hand.

And with that, we headed back to the flat, in silence.

Yet hand in hand.
