Scarlet's POV

I was asleep, I knew I was. Although, I could feel Harry's arms wrapped around me. I could feel his stead breath tickle my ears. I felt his protectiveness.

I wasn't dreaming - at least I thought I wasn't. All I could see was black.

I felt a sharp pain on the side of my head, awaking me from my slumber.

I hissed in pain, holding a hand to my head.

It came to my realisation that Liam had hit the breaks so suddenly, that my head hit the window.

"Sorry babe" Liam said quietly.

"You alright Scar?" Harry whispered.

I nodded slightly, removing my hand from my head.

Soon I noticed we were pulling into a hotel car park, and I sighed shakily.

I hope Cameron doesn't find me here...

I felt Harry's arms remove from my waist. A sudden cool breeze hit my body, and a sudden flash of horror.

I bit my lip to prevent screaming and crying.

I soon got out of the car, and without another world, Harry pulled me up into the lobby of the fancy hotel.

Harry flicked his room key in his hand as I stayed as close to him as possible, as well as staying as distant as possible.

I was soon led into a elevator, the walls were made of marble with golden swirls and patterns through it. Harry's fingers pressed against one of the buttons, that would lead us to the floor 'seventy-six'.

I gulped as the doors opened, revealing a red velvety-carpeted hall that was filled with white, shining doors.

This was too fancy for my liking. I didn't deserve to be here.

I was the bad daughter.

The leftover dinner.

The, 'Why are you even here?'

I don't deserve to be in such a place. Now it all makes sense why Cameron hurts me and calls me anything but my name.

Because I'm just a leftover.

Soon, Harry had slipped his key through the slider, and opened his door to see the most beautiful hotel room ever seen.

"Welcome to my humble abode" Harry chuckled as he slipped off his coat and brown leather boots.

I smiled nervously, walking over to the black and white leather couches.

I took a seat, curling my knees up to my chest.

My lip hurt from biting it too hard. I couldn't hold on any longer. I had to let it all out.

One by one, my teeth slowly let go of my quivering lip, soon followed by a large, blood-curling scream.

I buried my face into my knees, wailing heavily into the ripped material of my jeans.

"Scarlet!" Harry shouted from the entrance.

I continued to scream and wail, not able to hold in the pain anymore.

"Scarlet..." I heard Cameron whisper.

I jumped, looking up to see the monster staring down at me.

"G-G-Get away from m-me p-please..." I shuddered, backing away until my back hit the arm of the couch.

"Scar-"

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FUCKING MONSTER!" I screamed at him.

His expression seemed to change to surprised.

"P-please don't hurt me..." I whispered, rocking back and forth, "P-please..."

"Scarlet I would never hurt you..."

I looked up again, to see it was Harry.

Cameron was never there. It was Harry all along.

"H-Harry... I-I'm so sorry..." I whispered, sobbing into my knees.

Harry exhaled a breath, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close.

"It's alright..." He whispered.

I snuggled my face into his chest, wetting his t-shirt with every tear I cried.

The sun was rising. I could feel the warm rays on my back.

"It... You were h-him and-" I got cut off by Harry's lips on my stomach.

I gasped, looking down to see him kissing one of my freshly marked bruises.

"I'll protect you. I'll never leave you. I'll hug you. I'll cry with you. I'll laugh with you. I'll kiss you. I'll trust you. But most importantly, I'll love you, forever" Harry told me, a tear rolling down his cheek as his hands cupped my face.

"P-promise?" I shook, a bit shocked to what he'd just said.

Harry smiled a sad smile that broke my heart.

"I- I promise" He choked out.

I sniffed up anymore threatening tears, Harry doing the same, and our lips met, shaking against one another's from crying, but yet moving in sync like usual.

"I'll protect you. I'll never leave you. I'll hug you. I'll cry with you. I'll laugh with you. I'll kiss you. I'll trust you. But most importantly, I'll love you, forever" I repeated Harry's words, "I promise"

Harry smiled, "I love you, Scarlet"

My breath hitched. Such words affected me now.

But I loved Harry. I knew I did.

I just... Can't trust him.

Any guy, for that matter.

"I-" I choked out, Harry's eyes seemed to fade, "I l-love y-you too"

Harry didn't smile or question, he just said, "What?"

I couldn't tell him. He'd be sure to get mad. He'd hurt me. He'd fight with me.

He might break-up with me.

"Harry I-" I breathed in, "I don't want to do this to you anymore"

Harry seemed to sadden again, "What do you mean?"

I shook my head, "I love you so much. But you've been through too much! Surely you're getting sick of me now - always crying, screaming, complaining... B-but just know that I d-do love you, and if y-you want to l-" I breathed out a shaky breath, "If you want to l-leave then I understand"

Harry took all of it in. I immediately expected him to slap me, kick me or call me a name and leave. But instead, he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"You've caused me trouble, yes" he whispered as he pulled back from me, "You've made me cry, yes. You've made me angry, yeah, you could say that" he told me, "But I love you so much. The only way I can explain it to you is... Actually there's no way to explain how much I love you, Scarlet" Harry chuckled, "But I'm not going anywhere, so you'll have to put up with me for the rest of your life"

I laughed at Harry slightly, punching his arm playfully.

"You're crazy" I told him, messing up his already messy curls.

"Yeah, I know" he winked, and his head dipped down for a kiss.

A soft, gentle, welcoming kiss.

The one that makes me fall in love all over again.
