Chapter 11

Chapter 11
Now we fade to the future. This is the narrator view now meaning me 😂 so yeah This will basically tell you what he is now.

Ricky now has a company called Jc Global which is worth over one trillion dollars.

His story began twelve years ago, when he became a nationally beloved sports star, and then was suspected of murdering his own family. We catch up to the court scene where we last left Ricky in his backstory, and as he sits huddled in his prison cell, he was able to appeal his case and be declared innocent due to lack of evidence.

But that wasn't the end of his suffering. He returns to his empty house after one year of being in prison.

The people used to call him a murderer everywhere he goes . And after a year of living in agony this way, he decides to end it all.

He stands on a bridge overlooking the River and thinks back to the horrifying moment when he'd come home to find his family gunned down. he'd never once thought of an end like this, and was overcome with rage and futility.

He cries at the memory of holding a belated memorial service for his family all by himself, and then lets go of the railing. As his body starts to fall forward, in that split-second, one phrase came to his mind: "come-from-behind victory," the way he'd ultimately won his gold medal.

As lightning strikes overhead and rain begins to fall, Ricky  dangles from the bridge by one hand, having chosen at the last second to fight for his life. He chose victory over death, and knew that he wouldn't be able to turn things around until he found the true culprit. So he decided then and there that he would find his family's killer before he died.

RICKYS POV
Aaah. Ouch. Crying in pain.
How long was I asleep?

Ben: 4 hours. Yeah.

Did you find her?

Ben: Stacey went to search for that girl.

Hmm.

Knock knock.

Come in.

Stacey: hey Ric. You better?

Hey. Yeah kinda. Did you find her?

Stacey : I searched every where for that doctor but I couldn't find her.

Stacey is Ricky's assistant and Ben is his bodyguard and his best friend.

Stacey: there's something strange about her. There's no such hospital called Amery hospital here and that's not even her real contact number.

Ben: the cops say that she maybe an attacker, maybe she's the one who tired to kill you.

No! She isn't.

Stacey : you don't even remember anything. How are you so sure.

I want you to find her because I think she holds the key to my life. 

After hearing those words Ben dropped the tea bag in the ground

Ben: your what?

You heard me.. she is the key to my life.

Ben: you probably thought that's he was pretty that's why your saying this.

No she wasn't pretty.

Ben: *smirks* wow a playboy like you will not think in such a way.

I don't care but she is the key to my life.

Stacey: she isn't okay the key to your life are your parents.

Stacey finally storms out the door.

Ben: someone's jealous.

I laugh a bit.

As I hold the ID card into my hand.

Jenelle... where are you now?
