Chapter 8
Ricky's POV

Huh? What's that sound?

Ricky? Did you really kill your family? Why did you kill them?
We're you that mad with them?

Huh? What are you talking bout?
As I came into my senses I remembered that I was arrested for my families death.
Cameras here and cameras there flashing right against me.

I was finally in a room. Dark grey walls with no were to escape. I looked down and was handcuffed to the chairs. I cry let me out I didn't do it.

Thomp!!!
A loud bang on the door.

That's what all criminals say.

As I open my eyes a man in his 40's sitting next to me.

Why am I here? Please let me out I didn't do it!

Why are you here? Your here because you murdered your family You filthy brat.

I told you I didn't do it!!

What evidence do you have to prove your self??

I lie there with no response. For the first time I was completely blank.

Huh? He laughs
You are a murderer.

No I'm not! I scream

He takes my head and shoves it on the table.

We have two suspects who are your friends who claim that you had a fight with your father and that you said! You wanted to kill him.

He growls.
Your coward for killing them and being too afraid to kill yourself.

At that point I lost hopes I buried my face on the table and tears went down my face.

Few days later
This time I'm in prison. My body was dying inside. I wanted to get out of here and die.

Ricky you have a visitor.

It's been several days since I had someone visiting me.

As I walk pass the bars I saw my uncle Brooke. He was my dads best friend.

Uncle : Hey son. How are you?
I'm okay uncle. How's everyone at home?

Uncle: all Good my son. I know you didn't do it Ricky. I saw you growing up. And I know your parents they wouldn't have a son who kills people. I trust you my son.

I didn't cry. I felt sympathy but I was strong enough to hold it in.

Uncle: That prosecutor his name is Henry he is an ambitious man, looking to make a name for himself on a famous case.
By the way we couldn't hold it longer so we had to have a funeral without you. I'm really sorry son.

I spill a few quiet tears, and then start breaking down in sobs.

Uncle: Stay strong my son because they are not going to give up.

Ricky's trial begins and Prosecutor Henry comes out strong, asking for the death penalty. Public sentiment is on his side, it seems, because people cheer in the
courthouse. That makes Ricky snap and he launches himself at Prosecutor Henry.

How? How you bastard? I scream.
