Chapter 38

Ricky's Pov

Dad : hey! i didnt change my mind at all.. yes i did kill you on that bridge, but you we're the one who held on, like you were begging to live, And because I had an affection for the character, I  chose to let you live. But that was a critical error, because after that you became a MONSTER!

Dad : You're trying to understand the world with the brain that I gave you...Does that make sense? You're nothing but a drawing!

Dad : I thought I was going mad at first, and went to a therapist, and told my friends. But no one believed me. I even thought of running away because I was so scared, but then I couldn't because of Jenelle.

Dad :  I admit that I didn't do anything for my daughter while she was growing up, but I was doing well and the webtoon was successful and I was able to make money, so I told myself to hang on a little longer. I decided to continue the webtoon until I made enough so that Jenelle  could live comfortably for the rest of her life.

Dad : you arent  the only one having nightmares, because I get nightmares every night too, but I held on with the belief that I could end it soon. But every attempt to kill you has been thwarted, and then you even went so far as to pull Jenelle into your world. That's why I stabbed you, in the hopes that this curse would end. You are an illusion. You're not anything! You're just a character I created! So why are you showing up in front of me and pretending to be a person? Why are you pulling my daughter into this and continuing the story however you please? You're just a character, do you hear me?! A predetermined setting that I created!

I wiped away all the tears on my face...

I have one wish that i want you to do..

I held the gun up to Dad and ordered him to draw the ending of the webtoon that he originally intended, before making me commit suicide on the bridge. My desire was to catch my family's killer but my intention was so strong that it brought me all the way here, I ordered Dad to draw the killer's face so that I can go back to My world and finish the story in a way that makes sense. My friends are still stuck back there, neither dead nor alive, and I can't just leave them there.  

Dad : There's nothing I can do now because the storyline has to make sense to you.

The ending what I want is simple: catch the killer, bring him to justice, and live a normal life. 

I hold the gun up against his head ... DO IT!!
