Danielle's POV:

Yay me, it’s the weekend!

Not just ‘Yay’ me, they’re other people happy for the weekend as well!

Jeez sorry, someone got out the wrong side of the bed this morning!

I'm not even out of bed yet…idiot!

Wow, I have to stop talking to myself.

I looked over at the time 11:03am.

Ah, good old days…being able to sleep in. Wait what? I slept in?

Either the Smiths have a sleep-in-routine on the weekends or someone attempted to wake me up but failed miserably.

I get out of bed, grab my pink fluffy nightgown and walked towards the door.

On weekends I eat first and change later!

I walk down the stairs and sit on the kitchen island stool alone.

Why are you just sitting here? Do something like…I don’t know…make breakfast! I

stand up and open a cupboard to find different cereals and other stuff but the kettle and toaster catch my attention and I begin preparing my breakfast.

As I prepare my breakfast, I hear footsteps and I turn to face a very sleepy but still good looking Mason.

He’s hair has that just-woke-up look but its suits him and he's already changed into his black jeans and shirt with his leather jacket.

Hot!

Stop it, you’re not meant to be falling for him.

“Greetings” I greet and he mumbles something.

He’s phone beeps and he looks at the screen “Nate and Elle have gone out” he says and I nod.

Masons phone rings and he walks away to answer it.

I get my iPod from my pocket and connect my earphones and begin preparing another breakfast…for Mason?

I'm not a mean person. I feel bad if I have a chance to do something nice but ignore it! I feel guilty.

As I pop the bread in the toaster and ‘Olly Murs – Heart Skips a Beat’ plays and I begin dancing at the first beat and then I start humming…coz I don’t know half of the first verse…”…listen to the same sad song playing on repeat,
‘Cause every time we come this close, my heart skips, skips a beat,
So come on, spin me around,
Now I don’t wanna go home,
‘Cause when you hold me like this you know my heart skips, skips a beat,
know I should, but I can't leave it alone,
and when you hold me like this that's when my heart skips, skips a beat,
oh, oh, oh…”

I turn around as I finish the breakfast and place it on the table and I jump as I look up at Mason looking at me…weirdly.

“Wow” he says clearing his throat “I didn’t plan on waking up to hear you sing” he says “thanks” he says pointing at the breakfast.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” I ask faking offence “and you’re welcome”.

“Nothing and no problem” he says and we both tuck into our breakfast.

He sighs and says “mum told me that you are ‘too young’ to stay here alone…” he begins as he quotes ‘too young’ with his hands “and so I have to take you with me”.

“Say what?” I ask and he shrugs and he stands to put our plates in the dishwasher “hurry up and get changed…I'm going in a few minutes” he says.
