Chapter 14

Danielle's POV:

A couple of weeks meaning month or months even have passed...and guess what?

We're still here...at the Smith residence!

Not that it's a bad thing, it's actually great but i'm beginnning to miss my parents a lot and I even went through the stage of crying at night...

I think it's becaue we skyped them and...yeah...emotions.

Let me just update you on my life.

We all still do our voluntary work thing and the boys managed to turn theirs into a job...I however, have achieved a job at the local cafe Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school till 7.

I'm actually currently at the cafe which is empty and we're closing in ten minutes.

There's only me and this other girl working and the manager, Caitlin is really nice.

The other girl has left and I'm sat behind the counter passing time.

The bell rings and I look over to find my 'gang' enter.

"Yo people" I say and they all return the greeting.

I pass them all their beverages and sit with them around the table.

"How's the job working for you?" Amy asks.

"Great!" I say enthusiastically "what about you boys?" Amy asks.

They all nod.

"The boys are back, the boys are back..." I sing and everyone looks at me confused.

"Come on" I sigh "High School Musical 3...Troy and Chad...no...ok" I say and Nikki nods "yehhh" she says in realisation.

"Coz, they be in a garage and you guys are in a garage and oh forget it" I give up explaining

My shift ended and Mason drove us home.

I enter the house and see Anne and Nathan "hey, where's Michelle?" I ask.

"She's at work honey...she has overtime" Anne explains.

"Oh...wiat, that's perfect" I say running and sitting beside them and Mason enters.

"Basically" I begin "It's Michelle's birthday on Friday" I state.

"Is it?" Nathan asks confused.

"And its Mason's next week" Anne points out.

Dudes gonna be 18!!!

"And Mom...you already said that I can have a party" Mason announces.

"Cool...so basically as it's gonna be her 21st...I wanna do something special like a surprise party and stuff" I begin arranging "but we've only got 2 days and I'm sorry for short notice".

"Don't worry Danni...we'll have it just how you want it" Anne says.

"Thank you" I reply.

This lady must be the world's most nicest woman ever...literally. She's really played a mother role for me for the past few months.

Before we know it Friday has come and I book the day off from work and when me and Mason arrive home I'm gobsmacked.

"Woah" I say admiring the view.

"What do you think?" Anne asks.

"I love it...thank you so much" I say truely meaning it.
