Chapter Fourteen:

The rest of the day we spend watching Netflix. I learn a thing or two about watching a horror movie with girls.

Guide to Watching Horror Movies With Girls by Adam Foster

1. Girls will scream.

2. They'll lower down the volume when they know something bad is going to happen.

3. (The most important want) if they get scared and they use your shoulders to hide from the "terror" take advantage. If she does it, just let her calm in your shoulder.

4. Don't scream like a girl or you'll scare them instead of the movie scaring them.

At about seven, Stephanie and Emma started getting ready. In that time I went for a good three- mile run around. I ran with the shorts I've been wearing under my pants, and no shirt. If I would've run with a shirt I wouldn't have anything to wear to the Project X Party.

I came back and took a quick showered. Got dressed. (It still feels so weird living with almost-strangers. I can't believe they actually trust me). And guess what, they still weren't ready. I just stayed there waiting, it's not like I could tell them, "hurry the F off."

At 8:07 PM Emma and Stephanie were ready.

"Let's go," Stephanie said as she stepped out of her room, dressed very inappropriate for school but very appropriate for a college party. Emma looks insane! She looks so flawless, her outfit a little rated R, but sexy.

"Wow," I say in a low voice. I try hard not to gawk but its impossible.

We walk out of the apartment. Two hot girls walking out with some weirdo( that's me).

"This is gonna be sick," Stephanie says.

"Yeah", Emma responded as her Mustang started. I obviously sat in the back.

It didn't take so long to arrive at the Project X Party. We arrive minutes past nine. So far the party seemed like it was about to start.

In movies, the cool people don't arrive until shit gets cool, but this party looks like a lot of cool people are already here.

We step out of the vehicle, and I can see a clear view of the house, more like a mansion. This Jake guy sounds like a rich kid. I'm sure how he is.

The good-looking guy with every materialistic item everybody wants. He probably likes Stephanie, or at least wants to hit her and quit her ASAP.

We invited ourselves into the house, walk inside in order to walk out into the backyard where there's a huge Olympic-size pool with college kids. They have everything here. Beer, boozes, wine, tequila, name it.

Stephanie and Emma say hi to some hot girls and they both leave without me.

I'm left alone.

Not surprised.

The party is just getting started and I know how this will lead:

Me sitting in the corner with myself as my company.

More and more people start arriving. Girls and guys. All of them probably in college, no high schoolers.

As a loner, I walk myself towards a table with snacks, and as stupid as it looks I grab a plate and fill it up with chips. The worst part is that I'm the only one eating. Everyone else is either with their beer or shots.

I'M SUCH AN OUTCAST.
