Usually on Fridays I would leave the house and go out, but I don't see the point of it anymore. My life is meaningless.
James wanted to come over for our tutoring lesson, but I wouldn't answer the door. I haven't left the bed for 2 days, except for taking my medication or using the restroom. I haven't eaten, hadn't had human contact, and haven't spoken. Lafayette has also been wanting to come over, which is very weird. All I have been doing is sleeping.
At two am I hear my window open.
"Who hell is there?" I didn't have much time to react, as a figure gets on top of me.
"Thomas, this is the only way I could get inside," The deep, but soft voice said. It sounded like James.
"Why the hell are you on top of me?" I squirm a little and he gets off.
"So you wouldn't attack me, obviously," He turns on the lamp. James was wearing a long shirt and baggy joggers. I myself was just wearing sweatpants.
"Well what do you want?" I stand up and tower over James.
"I came to get you out of the house," James grabs a shirt out of my closet along with shoes, "Here, you'll need these,"
"Out of all times, why did you pick three am?" I put o the shirt and shoes.
"Because I tired to open the window earlier today, but failed," I chuckled and he blushes.
Normally if anyone else did this I would reject them and go back to sleep, but since it was James...I couldn't resist.
While I was staring, James grabs my arm and pulls me outside. We head into the city, while I was unaware of where we were going.
"Hey, James?" I walk next to him and look at the city lights, "Where exactly are we going?"
"Uhm...McDonalds?" I had to hold in my laughter, "Just because you probably haven't eaten in a day,"
"Not true!" I scoff, "I ate macaroni earlier today,"
He sighs and walks into the fast food place. I wait outside. After 20 minutes James comes out with two burgers.
"This is stupid," I take a bit of my burger and James rolls his eyes.
"The only reason I climbed through that window is so you can get out of your house," He throws away his half finished burger and looks over at me, "I could take you home,"
"Fuck no," I throw my trash away, "I didn't put on shoes just to come to McDonalds"
"Well what's your ideal thing to do at three am?" James says, very sarcastically.
"Well honestly I would definitely sleeping," I smirk, "with you,"
James giggles and playfully hits me, "I'm not going to fuck you, Thomas," I frown and grab his hand.
We walk a couple blocks and just talk. He hasn't let go of my hand yet, which is a good sign.
"You know, we're graduating in two months," James rests his head on my arm and sighs, "what's your plan?"
"Death," I was telling the truth, I wasn't going to college. There was a long silence.
"I have an idea," James broke the sad silence and perked up, "Let's go swimming,"
He smiles and I roll my eyes.
"That's a terrible idea," I say and James grips my hand harder.
"That's why we should do it,"
