Our Own Ending (Jeffmads Punk!Thomas and Nerd!James)

-23- Thomas

I wake up and look around. Tubes are connected to me and my breathing becomes more panicked.
"T-Thomas?" I look over and see James. I suddenly become calm.
"J-James I'm sorry.." Memories fill my head about the last time we spoke.
"It's o-ok, I'm just so happy you're  conscious." James smiles and starts crying a bit.
"I-I love you." I say and smiled slightly. I feel my self slowly drifting from consciousness, "I-I'm sorry that it's going to e-end like this..."
"Don't say that. You're going to be okay..y-you have to be o-okay." James puts his hand on my cheek.
"James, I love you so much." I put my hand over his, "but you know I'm not okay."
He doesn't respond. He looks down and closes his eyes. I feel weak and helpless. All I want to do is wrap my arms around James and kiss his forehead. I wish I could be okay and normal for James. He didn't deserve this, I shouldn't have walked into his life. I should have just kept distance from him.
"Do you regret being with me?" I say quietly and through muffled sobbing.
"Of course not! Thomas if I hadn't known you...I wouldn't k-know what love is.."
"James, I've been in love with you since 7th grade..." I blushed slightly, "If I had not seen y-you..I-I don't know what would I do." I start getting light headed, but I needed to talk to James.
"T-Thomas, I'm sorry for being so selfish..I will never regret loving you. I would do it again and again.."
I get enough strength to sit up and hug James.
"You're wonderful." I say and close my eyes. My breathing slows and I stare at James.
"T-Thomas please don't g-go." I stay quiet and hold James' face.
"I just want to hold you for one hour more.." I sigh and hug him again.
"I love you so much.." James says and kisses me, it was an uncomfortable kiss but I still loved it.
"I love you more." I say quietly and close my eyes. Everything goes quiet.
"T-Thomas...?"
