The truth? I like her. A lot. She makes me happy. She makes me laugh. She's smart. She's different. She's a little awkward. Her giggle alone can make my day. And she definitely doesn't this but I'd go out of my way to make sure she's okay.

"Solo I'm going out.""You look nice. I like your blonde hair."
"Thank you."
"You going out with Nicki?"
"Yes."
"Aww, cute."
"No. Not cute it's..."
"Cute. I know."
"Lock up if you leave."
"Can you be back before it rains?"
"Sure."
"You promise?" She pouted.
"Yes, little brat." I kissed her forehead before I left.

"So what are you getting?" Nicki asked me. This was her tenth question in the past ten minutes.
"You ask a lot of questions."
"Maybe if you answered them then I wouldn't ask that many."
"I'm buying clothes that are actually in style."
"That's all it took."
"We already went over my question situation."
"I know but I was hoping that it had changed," she pouted. I rolled my eyes and held out my hand so that she could grab it.
"Can you keep up?"
"Your legs are longer than mine."
"Okay, I'll slow down."
"Thank you."
"My sister is coming to my apartment later today, you can stay if you want to meet her."
"That'll be nice." I pulled her into one of the stores.
"Can I help you look for stuff?"
"Whatever makes you happy."
"Okay, but whatever I pick you have to try on."
"No."
"Come on, you don't have to like it, just try it on."
"That doesn't change my answer."
"Please," she said in a baby voice. She stood in front of me so that I wouldn't move. She pouted and batted her eyelashes.
"Fine." She smiled hard enough for me to see her dimples and I couldn't help but to smile back.
