Cody's POV
If I had known the last time I would see Ellie was her whisking away to the door , I would've stopped her, and begged her to dance with me for one more song.
It was eleven minutes before the panic crept in. I looked around the gym, finding no signs of my beautiful Ellie. I saw Alyssa and waved her over, "Hey where's El," she yelled over the music.
"I can't find her," I yelled in return.
Her eyes grew large and I grabbed her hand and practically ran towards the door.
The cold air hit me leaving me a bit breathless, Alyssa's eyes searched the area, but it was so dark it was almost impossible to see past the parking lot.
"Ellie!!" I shouted, only hearing the wind's cold whisper in reply.
I ran back inside and made my way towards the stage, I told the DJ our situation and the music immediately faded away.
"If Ellie Riding is in the building can she come to the stage please," the crowd mumbled but no one made their way up to the front.
My mind raced, going immediately to the worse possible scenario.
Somehow both Alyssa and I knew what this meant.
I quickly walked back outside and pulled my cell out, dialing Ellie's mom.
"Hey Cody, how's the dance... Is something up?" Her soft voice answered.
"We can't find Ellie, she's not in the school."
Alyssa came over and held up a barrette, the same sparkly diamond one tucked into El's hair.
My stomach dropped and I finally could feel the fear set in.
I didn't really hear what El's mom was saying, everything was just kind of slow moving and fuzzy.
Alyssa waved her head in front of me like she was trying to pull me back.
Where was my precious girl?
My head was pounding but I finally came to my senses and could hear El's mom softly crying.
"I've called the police, how about we start our own search party," Alyssa piped up.
I nodded silently, I was going to do everything in my power to get Ellie back.
Alyssa and I hopped into my truck, the engine purred and moaned as I screeched out of the parking lot.
We searched everywhere we could think of, luckily our town was small enough where we could travel around it in a hour.
Alyssa furiously texted and called continually getting no reply. Alyssa was sobbing, knowing exactly what had happened to Ellie.
"She can't go through that, she just can't," came her words, mumbling and quiet. "I'll take you home," and with that we drove to Alyssa's house, her mother meeting us at the driveway, sweeping up Alyssa.
"Please, please find Ellie...She can't....go through what my poor Alyssa did," Mrs. Kingsley begged, and exited towards the house, taking a very worn out, and weepy Alyssa with her.
I had to find Ellie. No matter what it took. And I knew exactly where to start.

Ellie's POV
It was dark when I came to, and the air was damp, I knew I was underground. I heard whispers, and stifled crying. I knew then, that this was where Alyssa had been.
My hands and feet were tied, so I knew I wouldn't be able to move, but I shuffled my butt over to the girl closest to me, trying to not frighten her more.
"Hey, do you know where we are? Who's in control?" My voice was hushed by the other two girls.
The small girl next to me, possibly only 15 just shook her head in response.
"Hey, you," another girl shushed again, her brown hair messy, sweaty, and knotted, "Don't talk too loud, or he'll come and punish all of us."
"He who?" I questioned in a hushed tone, worried that I may already know the answer.
"We just know his name is Winder, and...we don't talk to him or talk when he's around."
With that, a door creaked, letting in a hot ray of sun separating the dark of the basement out. Everything became silent, and the heavy-booted feet stomped their way down the stairs.
I held back the scream that gripped the back of my throat, but I knew I couldn't move, and according to other girls I dare not say anything unless spoken to.
"Well, someone's awake," he sounded, his voice low and husky.
He bent down, squatted, his face right infront of me now. He looked familiar, like I had met him somewhere.
I couldn't think too hard because my stomach gurgled, disrupting the silence.
He held out something, possibly bread, but he wedged it in between his teeth holding it out for me to take.
I grimaced, but my hunger gave me the push to reach over and take the bread from his mouth, savoring every second of the food.
"I know you haven't been here long, but you have always been my favorite," he said sweetly, rubbing my cheek, I shuddered, this man creeping me out by the second.
"I was so jealous when Tim got to date you, I would follow you on dates...Pretend that you were with me as opposed to him."
My eyes were widening, realizing with each word he said who he was,
"It all really took off that summer when I wanted you so bad I told Tim. But Tim was so protective of you he swore he would do anything to stop me, I had to....I had to do something drastic.
My parents were the only logical option. It had to stop.
But not even then...I told Tim he had to give me something better.
I needed to know what it was like inside you..."
My repulsion was growing even more, holding back the vomit in my throat, I was continually shrinking back even more from the hands that were still stroking me.
'I needed it Ellie....I needed him to rape you."
I let go. I screamed as loud as possible, earning me a slap across my face.
"Don't test me girl,"
Hot tears were trickling down now, I couldn't believe what had happened. Everything bad happening was because of me. Because Tim's psycho older brother wanted me. And Tim had only ever been protecting me.
I prayed that night, that I would be found...as soon as humanly possible.
