Dear diary,
After a few days, the routine sets in. I mean, yeah, I still experience some pretty new things about high school and the sort of newfound teenage freedom and responsibility. Like taking care of your own because nobody is gonna take you by your hand everywhere. Like finding your way around because every period is in a different part of school.
But everything else? It gets normal. My classmates are okay. I've found one or two nice people to talk to. I don't have a problem with anyone. Yet, at least. After all the stress and craziness around had passed, I finally got a chance to look around my classroom and look closer on everyone I'm gonna have to spend the next five years with.
That's when I saw him. He was tall, with light brown hair and eyes the color I couldn't quite place from afar. He was chatting with the other boys. Not the overly popular one it seemed. He wasn't boasting like some of them did. Quite the opposite actually, he seemed very genuine and humble. Intelligent as well. He didn't draw much attention to himself and seemed to be okay with it. Unlike the other teenage boys who were being loud and cheeky, he kinda stood out.C'mon. Who am I kidding. I'm so shy that I don't even know his name. But it's nice to watch from afar. Not stalking or spying. Just being interested. The observant type. Doesn't require much social interaction yet gets interesting results. That's typical me.
I guess I'll be writing more about this boy later. Finally someone interesting enough to daydream about.
