Third person point of view...
Eleven had wandered that day. From Mike's house, to Will's house, and even back to the school. She only took the routes she knew, afraid that if she took another way, she would get lost, hurt, or maybe even encounter a beast like the one she had seen the day before.
Of course, it was the next day and she had stayed the night in the school. She had only went into the first hallway. She refused to go in any further. The main reason why she had went back to the school was to get some more pudding, the pudding being her only source of food that she easily knew how to find.
After Eleven had gone to get the pudding, she left the building once again, reassured to venture.
Eleven did not really know what she was doing. She was in a place like home. Same places, houses, and even the same weather, but there wasn't a single human soul to be found at all. Only creatures, as Eleven knew them. Animals.
She knew that she needed to find a way to contact someone, anyone to help get her out of wherever she was. She wanted to go home. She especially wanted Mike. Mike was the closest friend she had ever known. He was more than what Lucas and Dustin were to her. She did not quite understand how that was, but she knew that that was certainly a fact.
Eleven suddenly stopped in her tracks as she heard a weird sound around the place she was walking. It wasn't a friendly sound. She looked to her right. Far off in the distance, she saw two creatures that looked identical to each other walking in circles, hissing and reaching out towards each other. Eleven knew she had to get away. Somehow, she had to get through the woods and back to a house she knew. This is when she realized that she was safest inside, away from all of the creatures.
The animals that Eleven saw this time were jaguars, however, baby ones. To her, though, they still looked terrifying, especially being she didn't understand that this was their way of play, even though it still seemed frightening and harmful.
Eleven had ran away into the woods. The same woods that she had walked with Mike and her other friends, as well as the one she had walked through yesterday. "Mike. Home," said Eleven. She wanted to go back home, and maybe there, she could find a way to talk to someone from home.
As she was walking, El heard noises from above. They were silly noises that made her smile. When she looked up, she saw four of the same animals interacting and swinging in the trees. They were monkeys, but of course, how would El know that? El slowly walked away, her gaze still up at the monkeys, being she was amused with their activity. El decided that she liked those creatures.
She continued down the trail and eventually made it out of the woods. She was around the area of Will's house now. If she'd take the next trail she saw a little bit away, it would lead her to an area close to Mike's house. She smiled at the thought and continued to walk again, until she heard a loud noise that she didn't know how to explain to herself.
The noise she heard was the loud roar of a grizzly bear, standing about thirty feet behind her. Eleven turned around to look at what she heard. The bear was looking directly at her. It gave another roared and El shed a tear, scared and not knowing what to do.
The bear decided to slowly walk toward her. It was a warning to back away from it. Eleven stayed, though, frozen in her place. The bear continued to make it's way to Eleven. Realizing it wasn't going to stop, she started to run away in fear of the creature trying to attack her. Eleven ran all the way to Will's house and never once looked back.
Once she had made her way inside of the small house, she did what she had done the day before when she had entered a house; she had moved a piece of furniture in front of the door so a creature couldn't get in. She did this with the front and the back door of the Byers house.
