Third person's point of view...

Eleven dropped the device and fell backwards onto the bed. She was tired, but she didn't let herself get drained out totally so she could still use her abilities if she needed to, however, since she had been in this dimension, she hadn't used them much.

Eleven then smiled, knowing she just was able to talk to Mike and hear his voice for the first time in a long one. Even if she couldn't talk to him for as long as she wanted to, she did talk to him, and she was proud of herself for figuring out how to. She missed Mike more than anything, and talking to him for only five minutes at a time isn't enough. She was thinking about what it'd be like for her to talk to him for longer, just to hear his voice. Just to talk.

She wanted to get back, but she didn't know how. The only way she could think of in order to get out was through a gate. Maybe she could try to go to Hawkin's lab, but then again, that would mean going outside for a long time and having to encounter God knows what. Plus, what if the gate wasn't there? What if because this wasn't the Upside Down, the gate wouldn't be where the one for the Upside Down was? What if the gate was there, but they had the biggest and scariest creature guarding it so she couldn't get to the gate?

El contemplated all of these things as she sighed. She had to figure out a way to get out. She walked out of Will's room and looked around to find some sort of clock. She found one and it read 4, 2, 6. "Four, two, six," El repeated, knowing her numbers. She remembered when Mike had said that he got out of school at 3, 1 ,5, so if this said 4, 2 , 6, and four was greater than three, then it had to be later, right?

El thought. She could more than likely attempt to contact Mike every day around this time. If he was out of school at 3, 1, 5, then any time after that should be fine, right? Eleven shrugged at her on thoughts as she went back out into the kitchen to find more food for herself.

----------

After Eleven was done eating what she found, which just happened to be cereal (which she ate dry because she didn't know how people usually ate it), it was already darker outside. She sighed and walked out to the living room, bored and too tired to attempt much of anything at the moment. El sighed as she plopped down on the couch and soon laid down on it. She was too tired to do anything extreme, yet too lively to consider going to bed.

After thinking for a moment, Eleven decided to head into Will's room and try to get an early start on her sleep. She thought, if she were to fall asleep early, she could wake up early. If she woke up before it was light out, then maybe more of the creatures would be asleep like she would have been. Then maybe she could travel and try to go somewhere. She thought about this plan in her head before getting into Will's bed and covering herself up. She lightly smiled at herself, remembering the day all over again. As she closed her eyes to go to sleep, you could hear her soft voice whisper with happiness.

"Night, Mike."

----------

Eleven quickly sat up in the bed. She was sweating from head to toe and she was panting like she had just run a marathon. She quickly started to look around. She had been awaken by the terrifying sounding roar coming from the outside. The only things you could hear were the roars and Eleven's heart beating.

She heard the booming roar again. This time, she fully got out of bed. She walked over to where she had left the intercom and grabbed it as fast as she could, as if it were to disappear any second.

Boom! Boom!

Eleven suddenly heard loud booms coming from the front of the house. She ran out of the room to face the door and slowly approached it as the noise continued. What she saw was the door breaking. Slowly, but surely breaking. There was something ramming itself into the door, clearly with the intention of breaking it down.

A lion. The same lion that Eleven had first saw, might I add. Of course, she would realize that.

However, Eleven was in shock. She didn't know what to make of what was happening. She started to slowly move towards the porch door, knowing she could get out through there. She flung her hand backwards and the piece of furniture that was in front of the door moved. After that, no more time was wasted. The lion busted through the door and let out an incredible roar. Eleven's eyes were wide open as she stared at the beast. Her lip quivered and a tear fell from her eye. She was petrified.

That is, until the lion plunged in her direction. Then, she realized she had to move. Now.

Eleven ran out of the door and pushed the piece of furniture back in front of it using her gift. She still tightly clutched the intercom in her hand, even though she was sweating everywhere, her palms especially.

She watched the beast move inside the house from where she was standing in the yard, it never stopped, and now it was trying to get outside to her. This time, El didn't freeze up.

The lion broke down the other door and ran out after El. It's teeth almost sparkled in the moon lights as it gave another roar. It jumped into the air as it lunged towards Eleven, and after that, everything seemed to go into slow motion. Eleven narrowed at the beast and grasped it with her mind. With a flick of her head, the lion was flung into the woods.

El then slowed her pace, knowing she would drain even more. That lion was heavy. She also knew, however, that the lion wasn't dead, so she had to escape. Then, Eleven then moved her hand toward the ground. She used a force to push herself upward to the only place she knew that it couldn't get; the roof. She landed with a slight thud and immediately caught her grip on the roof and began to pant.

Not to her surprise, it came back. She only scoffed with a slight smirk on her face, knowing that no matter how much the beast scared her, she was stronger than it. She flung her arm at it and it flew backwards yet again. After that, the lion gave up, and Eleven decided that she would be spending the rest of the night on the roof.

Of course, it was easier that or a house with holes in it.

Eleven laid down on the roof, though it was much more uncomfortable than the bed. In honesty, she wasn't concerned about falling off. She was a still sleeper. Always has been, always had to be.

Guys, I'm really sorry this chapter was so short. It ended up being approximately half of what I typically write for my chapters, but in my defense, I really couldn't write much for where Eleven is at for her chapter. This is mainly a filler chapter, but I promise for my next chapter I'll have what I typically write. Thanks for reading!! xx
