Picture is Cristal Reed

"Cristal Reed, Please see me in my office, right now."Our Principal's voice boomed through the intercom. Oh my gods! What have I done? Why is Mr. Reynolds asking me to come to his office? I hope I don't get a detention, my parents would bury me ten feet under the ground if I ever get one, they are over protective like that. I am fourteen years old and yet, they feel the need to treat me like I am four. For gods' sake they don't even let me use a nailcutter unsupervised.
"Ms. Reed, didn't you hear the announcement. Stop daydreaming and go to the Principal's office, right now," My annoying math teacher yelled.

Seriously, what is your problem Mr. Wes Jerk face Fits? Just because your last name is fits doesn't mean you get to throw a fit at every small thing. Can't you let a girl be terrified in peace? I thought as I made my way to Mr. Reynolds' office.

"May I come in?" I asked.
"Yes, please come in."He replied, "Have a seat Ms. Reed."
"Am I in trouble?" I asked petrified of what might happen if I get a detention. "I am in trouble aren't I? I knew it! "

"Oh my god is it about that time I hacked into the schools database to get out of gym class? I am so sorry. I'd never do that again. I just don't like gym class. The only workout I follow is going to the fridge to get food. Please don't suspend me for it, my parents will kill me. I swear I won't EVER miss a gym class again.Wait, scratch that I won't to miss any class again.Period. "
"Now, let's not jump on to conclusio-"

"Or is it because I hacked in to get my best friend into the talent show. Oh no! it must be because I made Ms. Riley teacher of the year in Mr. Fits place. OH MY GOD I am such a bad person , shit, I am going to get suspended, My parents would disown me, which means no college, which implies that I won't be able to get a job , Oh my God I am going to become a hobo and die of starvation . I should have never done any of that," I rambled cutting Mr. Reynolds off.
"Ms. Reed, calm down, take a deep breath. Now, listen, those things you just mentioned along with many others are not things you should be doing under ANY circumstances. However, those do prove your excellence in computer science and hacking . Now, tell me have you ever learnt hacking or should I say cracking from a professional?" Mr. Reynolds enquired.
"No, sir, I kind of just got a hold of it through the internet and some books and just started testing it out on school computers and public internet cafes as I didn't want a visit from the feds....probably shouldn't have mentioned that part..." I replied trying to keep myself together.
"Probably, so you basically taught yourself everything you know?"
"Yeah... am I in trouble?" I replied
He laughed, "No, Ms. Reed, you are not in trouble, the exact opposite, in fact. Now, here is the thing. You are one of our best students, if not THE best and we are well aware of your hacking skills,so tell me Ms. Reed what do you think about spies?"

"Sp-sp-spies?" I sputtered . " I kind of love them, the ones who help the government...not the evil ones who make more money than the government ones...obviously..."

"Obviously. So would you like to be one?" He asked.

"A spy? Are you joking? Is this one of those hidden camera pranks?" I asked Mr. Reynolds.

" I don't joke Ms. Reed. Can you answer the question, please," He said crossing his arms.

"YES! I have wanted to be a spy since the first time I saw the first James Bond movie." I replied.
"Okay, but there is a slight problem, we contacted your parents and indirectly asked them how they'd feel about you being a spy. They said that it is horrible idea. They'd never even think about letting you near a weapon; yet alone do such a dangerous job, so if you want to become a spy you'd have to lie and tell them you are going to a prestigious high school in Kansas called Broadway High , I'd personally go and convince them to let you go there ." He said.
"Well, it is not like I have never lied to them before, it is not going to be that hard ."I said to myself.

And just like that I my dreams became a reality.

My life did a complete 360 as I walked into RISI. One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. A spy school disguised as a posh private school run by the government under the name of a dummy private organisation to protect them from getting into trouble with 'social workers' who think that it's not practical or ethical to train people under 18 . I love watching the law breaking the laws, the irony always amuses me .

" Umm... hello... May I have my schedule and dorm room number, please ?" I enquired the receptionist.

"State your name, age and admission number please,"

" It's Cristal , with an i instead of a y , my age is 14 years and my admission number is BR198cws."

" Okay Cristal, is this your subject list?"

MAIN SUBJECTS
1. Spanish
2. Japanese
3. Criminal psychology
4. Basic survival course
Morse code
Kick boxing
Automobiles

ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS
1. Chemistry
2. IT
Hacking
Code encryption
3. Sign language
4. Physics

" Yes, it is ." I answered

"Alright," She said and typed a few things on the computer "Here you go. This has your schedule , dorm room number , keys , syllabus , rule book , dress code and a bunch of forms you need to fill." She added and handed me this brown envelope with my name written on it.
I thanked her and turned around only to headbutt a random stranger.

"Sorry ." I mumbled looking up to find a weird looking individual looking down at me . Okay ... that is a lie that dude is hot, hotter than Sahara dessert in summers.

" What do we have here ... another dorky nerd." He said.

" We prefer the term geek," I said and gave him the sassiest look humanely possible.

"And who are you geek? " the dude asked snatching my envelope.
"Hey! Give it back ! " I exclaimed.
"Cristal .... with an i ...? who puts an 'i' in Cristal? It's always 'y'! 'I' in Cristal is like pineapples on pizzas a horrendous mistake ."

"Hey...I happen to like pineapples on pizzas they taste exotic." I said, taking offence of what this uncultured swine just said.

" Of course you do ," he replied rolling his eyes .

" Give me my envelope!" I demanded.
" Oh this old thing ...nah...I think I'll keep it ," he said walking away with my schedule.

Without thinking for another second I jumped on his back , making him loose his balance and fall down. I snatched the envelope from his hand . Knelt down towards his ear and whispered.
" You don't want to mess with me ,jock, because as you just saw I CAN take you down. It is easier than hotwiring a car and that is EASY ."

I hopped off his back and walked away flipping him the bird.

First day of spy school was definitely not what I expected it to be it was just a bunch of cliches thrown into my life and I would be lying if I say I didn't reconsider my decision of joining this school.

As it turned out the first student I spoke to here became my true enemy and also turned out to be Xavier Argent ....pretty much royalty here at RISI. Something about his great great grandfather establishing this school ..I don't know zoned out every time he tried to pull that card on people.

Also the first friend I made here was arrested for 'confidential reasons' . My roommate turned out to be a real life version of Regina George who couldn't be my friend because I wasn't pretty enough.

And because every god out there hates me, She has been going out with Xavier since forever . But those problems seem like nothing now, after 3 years of intense training , extreme injuries, lab accidents and explosions .

We have all been through so much here and now it's time for THE competition. Normal schools have finals we have this competition every senior year. The competition basically works on the principle of survival of the fittest. It determines the rest of our lives including the department we'd work in, our starting salaries , posts etc.

This school, however deadly it is , is way better than any ordinary school can ever even dream of being . I mean if your school doesn't put your life in danger at least twice a day, you aren't doing the whole school thing right.
