Chapter 9 Saturday = Netflix alone

This week has been hard. So I'm watching Netflix while my parents are out on their usual date night. Part of me wants to message Calum but I'm afraid that I'm annoying him since we talk every day. I feel like he's cooler than me. I'm always alone and usually on Netflix. Luke is away for the weekend leaving me alone and bored. I put in my earbuds and scroll through shows wondering what to watch. I text Luke since we haven' talked in a while and I tell him more about Calum.
You sure he's who he says he is? I don't want you getting hurt and I can feel you are getting close to him.

He's not lying I follow his Instagram and twitter where he posts selfies. I send Luke one.
He's attractive.

Yeah I face timed him last night for the first time! Also he's from Sydney too but he moved to Denver.

Hows vacation?

I'm just in Boston but it's good cold AF but it's fine I've been in too many museums though.

I set down my phone as my cat Pizza jumps up on the foot of my bed letting out a loud meow. I have two cats Pizza and Pika short for Pikachu. One's a calico (Pizza) and Pika is an orange tabby who often hides under my bed and sometimes I forget he even lives here. Pizza curls up next to me and lets out a purr as I move my laptop closer to me. "I should text Calum." I say out loud as I scratch behind her ears. My phone lights up and I see it's a message from Calum. I perk up and read what he said.

"I'm going up to Boulder this weekend with Ashton and were staying at his friends dorm

That sounds fun!

Yeah I love going up there. I also got an A on that project I told you about. Spanish is still boring as hell but it's okay.

I laugh and text him back.

You want to see my cats? I forgot to show you them last night cause they were under my bed.

Sure! I'm more of a dog person I've been begging my family for a dog for years. I send him a picture of Pizza and Pika who immediately jumps off my bed and goes down the hall. So anti-social.

Okay no problem I was just wondering. I watch five movies and can hardly keep my eyes open. I'm getting sleepy.

About two A.m. I yawn and move my lap top before shutting it. If I fall asleep its not you. I text. He sends back a laughing emoji. Sleep I'll text you tomorrow well later today.
