"I'm sorry. Someone had thrown this at me and I just wanted to throw it back because of what it says. I'm sorry. I should've just thrown it anyway instead of being mad," i say in my normal tone of voice but with a pinch of innocence in to it.
'May I see what it says," he asks.
"Uh, yeah," I relpy, handing him the crumpled ball of paper. I wacth him cerefully unfold the pare.
"And on today's worksheet," he frowns.
I look around the room, my eyes meeting Harry's eyes but tore them away when I see his stupid smirk. Then my eyes went to the back of the room where she was sitting. That satisfied smile that once held thier place on her lips were soon replaced with a frown and look of worry. Finally I looked back up at the teacher from my seat. His frown grew deeper when he takes in the blue ink on the paper.
"I understand Miss Martin. This is highy unacceptable. Who wrote this," he asks while holding the pare up.
I look around to, even though I already knew who it was. Some ids mubled "it wasn't me" and went back to their sheet. Others looked at her but looked away. They already knew it was her but they weren't snitches. The "funny" and imature boys where oooing and and saying stupid stuff.
Since no one admit anything, the teacher just sais," very well. I guess we will just have to take this to the principle, will we?"
The boys in the back made their oooing more louder and then the bell rings. Her face finally came to its normal color. Even through her thick foundation, you could tell the color drained from her face.
I pack up and prepared for my next class. Out the door, I hear Harry say wait up. My steps came to a halt and i bumped into this kid I've seen around a few times. He is one of those punks. Last year, he had his hair in a tall mohawk until the school said he couldn't do that anymore. His hair now is shaggy, straight and jet black and hangs over his eye. He had a lip peircing but he didn't wear it much anymore. If i am being honest, he is cute. His style of clothing suits him perfectly.
He and I bend down to grab our stuff and he grabs one of my textbook. As cliche as it sounds.
"Sorry about that, Lesly," he says in a questioning tone. His vioce was deep and smooth.
"Yeah," I say, supressing a sqeal.
He smiles and do to.
"Done. Lets go," I hear Harry's voice from behind me say.
I see the boy's eyes wander over my shoulder then back to me.
"I'll see you around,' I ask the boy.
"Yeah, sure. It's Cody, by the way," he says, smiling with his teeth. He has blue braces and they are cute on him. By then I am internally gushing.
He turns on his heel and I felt Harry's arm around me, both of our eyes following Cody.
"Your to good for him," I hear Harry say.
"Who said I was?"
"I just did," he points out.
"You don't even know him."
"I know he looks like bad news," he retorts.
"Don't judge a book by it's cover," I say and look up at him.
His jaw tightens a little and he releases me from his arm before saying," I guess your right. Who knows, maybe I am a mastermind criminal. I'm sorry about saying shit to you about Louis and zayn. Not my place."
I smile," Your damn right about that!"
"He smiles widely," lets get to class, shall we?"
"We shall," and we both laugh as we walk down the hall to our next class.
Time flies by and each class is as boring as ever. Before I know it, it is lunch time. I walk to the hot food lunch lunch line. After deciding on popcorn chicken and mashed potatos, I punch in my student number to pay for my lunch. I see Louis waving toward me at the table he and some friends sat. I go and sit by him, a little immitated by the fact I am the only girl.
"Hey Les," Liam greets me. I get some his and hellos by others. Peering around the room, I spot Cody and Harry and Nick. They were all sitting by each other, much to my surprise. They all looked different. The heads hung low in the corner of the room, talking in hushed voices. I am curious of what they are talking about but I heard my name in the conversation that the boys are having.
"So Lesly wants to throw a surprise party for Melanie. You guys in? At my house but I'll need help with decoration," Louis says.
They all agreed then started talking about football season. I turned my gaze back to the table in the corner but they were gone. They were no where in the cafeteria. I decided the must've went their seperate ways, not wanting to be seen with each other.
