"Actually, I have one."

"Oh Louis? "

"Yes."

" I'm afraid that he sent me. He needs to give his grandmother a ride back to his place. "

"He said so? I'll check to be sure. His grandmother would usually have his mum do that," I say, non believing.

"Change in plans I suppose."

"mhmm, sure," I say while sending a text to Lou asking if he sent Harry.  Sure enough, he sent one back saying he did. Great.

"Told you.  Are you ready? I need to something before class. "  I realized that we were too close for my liking when I felt his warm breath, littered with a minty smell, fan against  forehead. I was short indeed.

He seems to notice to because he strides back to his car, me following, keeping my distance safe. After that kiss, I feel awkward. I sat down in the passenger seat and he fires up the ignition. Slowly, he backs out of the driveway and on to the street.

" Like school so far? It quite nice minus a few people," trying to start a conversation.

"It's okay. After all, it is my first day. I wish they had computer science as a fundamental part of your, America, K-12 education. They have it as a club, not even a damn elective of fuck's sake."

"Yea, I'm in that club. We woman don't have as much jobs in the field and I don't like that fact. I tried talking to the school, pleading them too add it into our schools elective but he said we wouldn't be able to fund it. "

"Yeah. So what do you want to be when you grow older?"

"A lawyer or musician," I respond with no thought. My life dream.

"But you study computers," cocking his eyebrow and a smirk playing on his lips.

" I just told you why! Basically, Ima go to school for anything that interest me, exploring my options but those would be the main, I have to have a back up plan. "

Looking at my surroundings, I see that we are a school.

"I am gonna talk to the club president right now about joining," he tells as he take his keys out of the ignition and sits in his seat, perhaps waiting for me to get out. I need to talk to Lou so I open the door and step out. "

Good luck, he's one of those high schoolers who act like an adult. Takes things very seriously. Bye bye," I warn, waving him a goodbye.

I literally ran to the school entrance to talk to Louis who seems  like he is quite the show upon arriving. A rather large group surrounds him as he talks.

"Be careful, if a desert ever tells you a joke, it might be too dry."

A horrible pun but the crowd roars with laughter like it is the most hilarious joke ever told. Breaking through the barrier the group has unconsciously created, I managed to grab Louis attention. Ugh, she's all over him. Eww.

"Lesley, babe," he says, the look in his eyes silent pleads "get me away fro. her" and I happily oblige.

" Let's go Loueh," I say flirtaciously. He pries her arms and fingers off of himself and grabs my hand.

We walk back outside and I notice Harry say something to Nick. Fisher, President of the club. Nick looks pleased and intrigued by what Harry is saying. I guess he has charisma. I lead Louis to a bench close by the tree Harry and Nick are at.

"So?"

He and I sat down and he fixes his attention to me. I watch his peering blue eyes. I notice he hasn't let go of my hand.
