I turn to Carter who stares out from behind the city building to the crazy streets.
"Well?" Ethan asks and Carter grimaces.
"I haven't figured that out yet."
"Yet?" Arina spits. "You need to think of something before we get our asses kicked by that girl again!"
Carter faces her, his face red with fury. "I will not be able to think things through if I hear you yapping all the time behind me!"
Arina steps forward, growing defensively. "I'm only picking one for the team. If you have a problem, we can fight it out right here."
"Guys. With all due respect, shut it," Ethan snaps suddenly and Arina slowly turns.
My eyes widen and Alex squawks suddenly in surprise. Carter doesn't move.
"Whoa. You have a voice," Alex states and Ethan's lip twitches.
"He's right though. We need to get moving before sunrise. That's when everything begins to get too crowded to hide," I state and Carter glances at me, straightening with a sigh.
"Alright..." He looks out into the city again, hesitating. "The street lights move in a pattern..."
He looks to the left where the next housing or factory lays. If we go at the wrong time, we will definitely will be caught.
"So we go at the right timing, the left side of traffic will be able to cross, making the back lane impossible to see us. And the left and right lanes will be too busy trying to get pass everyone to notice us as well... Maybe."
"Maybe?" Arina whispers and Carter hesitates again.
"There's a small chance that we will pass by a Cidedien will heightened senses... Anything that moves too fast or too slow then their speed itself will immediately be seen."
Everyone silences for a small moment.
"How fast do they travel?" Arina asks and Carter takes in a breath.
"They all have different speeds Arina, how am I supposed to know?"
Arina opens her mouth to give out a retort when Ethan steps up again. "What's the speed limit of the street?"
Carter glances at him, a curious look on his face. "... 70."
Arina's eyes widen and she nods once to Ethan. "I can turn into a Cheetah."
"I can fly there," Alex pipes in.
"And I can teleport with Ethan," I blurt and Ethan gives me a unsure look.
"Will I die?" He asks me and I grin.
"Not unless I want you too!"
"... Yep. That's reassuring."
"So we're set then?" Carter asks and Arina's response is transforming slowly into a cheetah.
Carter stares. "Alright then. We go on my mark."
I grab Ethan's wrist, immediately teleporting to the next factory. I open my eyes and Carter glances at me with an angry look in my direction.
Ethan topples over me, his face a light shade of green.
"Oh shit..." He grumbles and I keep him steady.
"Sorry. I didn't mean not to warn you, I wanted to disobey my brother." He gives me a glare and I smile brightly. "You'll get used to it," I continue and he shakes his head rapidly, his face turning only greener.
