The first thing that Arina decides to do, is head straight for her satchel that was hidden upstairs in her guest room. "I remember Chang gave me this purple crystal before we left for Signa..." She mutters to herself as all of us follow her into her room.
Arina gets to her knees, reaching under the bed and pulling out her brown satchel, reaching inside it and pulling a glowing crystal out.
"Oh! I remember that! It's used for communication isn't it?" I ask and Arina nods once, holding it tightly in both of her hands as she stands.
"I have no idea how to use it though," She mutters, and everybody turns to Hope who stands by the doorframe, entranced by the purple lines going across the walls of the room.
Hope finally realizes that all attention is on her and she meets eyes with Arina. "Yes?"
"Do you know how to communicate with this thing?" Arina asks quickly, coming over to the small girl who hesitates.
Hope glances down at the crystal, tensing. "It's not a thing. It's called a Yehtis. And no, i don't."
Arina blinks and Ethan comes up next to her. "Why not?"
"Because Yehtis are made from light and the soul of a Droicia. I can't touch that."
Ethan pales and Mitch tilts his head. "Well those are weird ingredients."
Hope tilts her head to get a good look at him, not looking very happy about Arina holding one of her kin. "Of course there are more ingredients that are added, but that doesn't seem like very important information right now."
"Can you make yourself hard to be seen?" I ask randomly, and everybody turns to look at me like i've grown a second head.
Hope though, loves the change in conversation, taking her attention to me and she nods. "Yes."
"Can you go and look for them?"
"No," Ethan snaps, turning to look at me. "That's too dangerous."
"And so is everything else we're doing right now, Ethan! And Hope can fend of herself, her mix tells us this," I snap back, making Ethan blink in surprise and Arina stares down at the Yehtis.
"We'd be killing two birds with one stone..." She mutters to herself and Mitch squints her eyes in suspicion.
"And how's that?" He asks and Arina bites her lip as she thinks.
"Hope, can you communicate with Ethan? Telepathically?"
"As long as he keeps the Draun in his possession. Yes."
Arina nods at her, now determined. "I want you to keep us posted on what you find as you go looking for the Cidediens. As you're doing that, we'll go ask Sherbert to see if he knows how to use this. Hopefully, once we figure it out it will be safe to communicate by then."
Hope's eyes shine and she gives a mischievous smile with a nod. "Sounds like a plan." She disappears in a cloud of smoke and Arina turns to us, beckoning us to follow.
"Come on, let's go find Sherbert..." She turns and begins to walk down the hallway with us quickly following.
We all walk into the lab, where Clara can be seen sitting next to Sherbert at the desk, that's still filled with papers.
They both look up as we enter. "Hello friends! What can i help you with?" Sherbert begins, his digital face giving us a cheeky smile and Arina lays down the Yehtis in front of him.
