Christopher Brown
Never had a boyfriend, I found that really hot because that meant she was pure, even though we are young it's hard finding girls who haven't been with everybody. I carried her to a place I always come to when I really needed a break from everything. This used to be my father's hardware but due to unfortunate circumstances, it was set on fire. My father was always an ignorant man I just think he pissed off the wrong person and this was the result of it.
We had some great memories here, but my favorite thing about this place was the view, at the side of the building there were some steps which still remained. He thought it was a great idea, we always came up here for the view in the nights and just to have our talks.
"What happened here?" Cece looked around. The street lights were so bright it made everything visible.
"This was my father's hardware it was set on fire they never found out who did it, although the evidence proved that it was on purpose" I explained.
"That sucks" She sighed, she was so beautiful I couldn't help but to smile at her. I walked over to her hand holding it as I led the way. We climbed all the way to the top, the view of the city was really beautiful.
"Well damn this is nice" she smiled.
"Yea it is" I stood beside her taking in the view with her. I never brought anyone here before, I actually no clue why I brought her here.
"You still come here with your dad?" she asked as she stared ahead
"No, we really don't get along anymore no need to"
"Oh, I'm sorry," she said looking at me with remorse I could help but to release a chuckle
"Why you apologizing you didn't do anything" I held her hand pulling her to me so I could get a better view of her face. She took a deep breath slowing releasing it as she looked into my eyes.
"Relax," I said tucking some of her hair behind her ear.
"I just want to know every side of you, I find you so interesting you don't even know that, there's just something about you, don't ask me what it is cause I don't know yet but I'll find out" She started to blush
"If I didn't know any better I'd think you're hitting on me" she smiled.
"Well maybe I am, is there a problem?" I pulled her even closer causing her body to press on mine, she moved her arms around my neck. I felt bad for doing this I still love Jayde probably always will but right now I just need someone to make me feel good.
"No" she simply said, looking away she almost never makes eye contact which was a sign that she was shy or she just didn't like it
"Thought so" I released her from my grip turning my focus back onto the view. I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket I slid it out looking at the screen seeing my father's name. I just placed it back into my pocket he was probably wondering where I and Sammy was.
"What on your mind, You seem really tense" she questioned.
"You ever good then out of nowhere you remember some fuck up shit that just fucks with your mood?"
"No but go on," She said rubbing my back.
"Growing up I always got into trouble at school either some fight or argument Jay was the one who kept me in check we were best friends before the relationship I also had this friend I could count on but then he betrayed me. Even at home when my father starts acting up I just come here as I said before that man is really ignorant he always feels as if he can dictate our lives its his way or the highway and the way he treats my mother its so disrespectful sometimes I just want to hit him like earlier today he was going off on my mom because she decided to spend her own money to get her hair done he says everything needs his approval, I got so mad at the way he was handling her Sammy had to be calming me down" I explained as the imagery just popped up in my head.
"He was just calling me so I know I'm about to walk into some bullshit when I get home"
"That's messed up, listen don't let that phase you get your earphones or something just block him out if it gets too drastic I can sneak you in no one should have to deal with that," She said her eyebrows came together she looked so concerned.
"Thanks" I looked at her as she stared at the view
"You were right this is relaxing" the words flowed on her enticing voice as she gazed.
My phone started to vibrate again, I looked at it realizing it was Jay. I took it out answering the call.
"Hey I'm out, I'll call you back when I'm home, You okay?" I asked Cece looked at me then looked away
"Yea, I just miss you.. but okay later," She said then hung up
"That was Jay right," she said with a little smirk lingering around her lips
"Yeah" I answered
"You guys still together?" she asked still not making eye contact. Jay and I weren't together but there's no doubt that I had feelings for that girl.
"No we broke up but we are still friends we cool"I answered.
"I see" she simply said. She didn't say much after neither did I, I wasn't really a talker unless it's something I really had to say, I didn't know what to say since her entire demeanor has changed. We both stood there in silence looking at view consumed in our own thoughts.
"We should get back to the theatre, " I said walking off breaking the awkwardness.I could hear her steps behind as she trailed behind.
