"I can't believe the days just flew off like that" Mom sniffled as she looked around in my dorm that she and Chris helped decorate. I couldn't believe I was actually here, I'll be away from home living on an actual campus. I know it'll be hard but I have no choice but to adapt and adjust.
"If anything happens just call me right away," She said before pulling into a hug.
"Mom you'll be seeing me on most weekends when I come home" I reassured her, she released me and made me promise to actually come home as much as possible. She had a client at four so if she didn't leave now she would be late. We exchanged our goodbyes then she was out the door.
"What's in the bag?" I asked Chris realizing there was an untouched black bag on the table.
"Oh, I carried some stuff for you," he said picking up the bag which wasn't that heavy. I opened it immediately smiling at his gesture. It had my favorite t-shirt of his that I slept in most nights when I stayed over, his chain I loved putting on, a bottle of wine and he framed two pictures one of us together and one with just him.
"This has to be the most conceited thing I've ever seen" I laughed waving the framed one of him smiling his face off.
"It's a nice picture beside its goes right on your nightstand. The first face you see when you wake and the last one you see at nights" He smiled taking it from me placing it down.
"Where should I put this one," I asked staring at the picture of us. I was smiling at the camera while he had his arm around me kissing my cheek. My smile was so big I'm surprised it even fit in the picture.
"I don't know, that can go anywhere I guess," He said not caring much about the other one as he tried to angle the frame right barely paying me attention.
"I should just throw this and burse yo fucking head" I laughed as I got up placing it at my study desk.
"It's so sexy when you curse like damn," He said pulling me to him so he could kiss me. I'm going to miss seeing him whenever I pleased the most.
"I'm really going to miss you" He sighed holding my face as he looked down at me.
"Same babe, I'll see you on the weekends or maybe every now and then after my early class ends we can meet up" I assured as I gave him one last kiss.
"So did they tell you anything about your roommate?"
"They said she was moving in tomorrow since I moved today. They don't normally have us moving in at the same time" I explained, I really hope it was someone who I could at least tolerate.
"I know you probably run into Quincy now and then but please just stay clear of him or any guy, as a matter of fact, I'm really not playing with yo ass" I rolled my eyes at him but he was actually very serious.
"Chris relax and breathe you know you're the only guy I'll ever want. If anyone should be worried it should be me, I'm really not in the mood for any games, lies or cheating" I folded my arms watching his expression change.
"I've been completely faithful you know I won't hurt you again so you're the one who needs to relax and breathe," He said pulling me back into him closing the gap.
"Okay babe" I said giving him a quick kiss.

We ended up drinking some of the wine I bought her then had sex since it was my idea of course to 'christen' the new place. After we had one of those conversations where there was no limits or boundaries, one of the many things I admired about her was the way she viewed certain things and that her mind wasn't closed to anything since she was willing to listen then give an unbiased opinion or answer. She challenged my intellectual capacity and I loved that, I love when a girl didn't just have pretty face or a nice body but had a beautiful mind amongst it all. I managed to answer everything she threw at me even twisting it and tossing it back her way. She asked me a question that was still plaguing me even though it was the simplest of them all, it was still biting on my conscience. "Would you ever lie to me for no reason, no scrap that, are you keeping things from me?" She asked out of the blues it had nothing to do with the subject we were on. Of course, I had to lie I've gotten so used to lying sometimes I didn't realize when I was. I had a contact I couldn't break it by telling her not even an ounce of anything.
