I ended up spending the night at Chris. I know mom normally reaches in late, and it's always the same routine. She makes her sandwich or get her microwaveable pizza, take a shower or if she still has work she gets straight to it then went to bed. Normally she doesn't check on me until in the mornings, sometimes if she isn't busy rushing off to work.

I snuck back into my house taking my time creeping up the stairs. I tip toed down the hallway so close to my room yet so far only to run into Daniel who just happens to be exiting his room.

"What do we have here, I'm gonna have a field day with this one when I actually wake up later" He said groggily as he rubbed his eyes, making his way past me, clearly, he was not fully awake he was probably just going to get something to drink from the kitchen. Just my luck.

I opened my room door closing it behind me as I went to my window waving to Chris who stood at his waiting on me to signal him that I was in. A text would've been fine but for some reason he wanted this.

I changed off my clothes since I had to put on the clothes that I wore to meet Lisa and Bree. I got into something comfier then tossed myself into bed so I could catch up back on my sleep.

"Honey" My mom said as she gently shook me waking me up from my sleep. I rolled over squinting my eyes at the clock which had showed it to was twenty minutes to the hour. I was exhausted and drained since I went to bed at 3 then woke up early to get back over here.

"Yes mom?" I whined.

"Sorry to wake you but a really handsome young man is downstairs waiting to see you" She stated which made me rolled my eyes. Chris cannot be serious right now he of all person should know how much I needed this sleep right now.

"Okay" I mumbled before getting up. I dragged myself into the bathroom brushing my teeth, washing my face then fixing my hair. What could be so important that he couldn't have just waited for me to text him when I was fully up.

I mumbled under my breath the entire time as I went to the living room where I assumed he'd be. I was too tired to jog down the stairs so I literally went down one step at a time.

"Hey beautiful". The sleep was completely knocked from my eyes when I had noticed Quincy was the one who waiting for me.

They say when you're having fun, time will just slip right through your fingers and that's exactly what happened. Quincy never flashed across my mind when I got caught up in Chris' world. The days had flew off and he was finally back from camp.

"H-hey you." I muttered as my hand crept to the back of my neck as I rubbed it feeling like crap. I had to tell him, I had to tell him we couldn't be more than friends. I was too caught up and hungry for Chris to let him go.

Quincy literally had the male 'resting bitch face' if he doesn't smile you'd swear think he was a mean person or he was always angry.

"So are you going to just stand there or are you going to give me a hug. I missed you." He said as he approached me.

"Sorry." I nervously laughed as I gave him a quick hug. His cologne went right up my nose which I loved, it was one of my favorites. "Quincy, we need to talk." I said as I pulled away.

"What's wrong." His face went back to straight, almost as if he knew what was coming. I took a seat in one of the couch inviting him to sit. I can't believe I'm about to put off a really great guy for Chris who could act up at any minute.

"It's about us, Quincy you're absolutely amazing and I feel horrible about what I'm going to say but— Chris and I have been talking one thing lead to a next—" Before I could continue I finally looked up at him since I couldn't make eye contact before. My stomach was turning inside and out while my palms got sweaty.
