I woke up to the sound of Bandit. He had to go to the bathroom.
"Really?' I looked at him and asked. He just turned his head. "Ugh alright lets go." I said taking the covers off and getting out of bed. I slipped on my boots that were by the door and put on my parka. I opened the front door and watched him as he went to to the bathroom.
"Good boy!" I said as he walked in. I gave him a treat and he ran off into the living room to eat it in private.
since it was my day off I decided that I would go skate at the pond near the United Center. I decided I wasn't going to take a shower because I knew I was going tosweat so there was no point. So instead I just brushed my teeth, washed my face and go changed into this: http://www.polyvore.com/untitled/set?id=111765343 I decided I was too lazy to make breakfast so I just went to Starbucks and got breakfast and a cofee. I grabbed my Skates and started my walk to Starbucks. I ended up ordering a blueberry muffin and a strawberry milksahke. They were my favorite. After I finished I threw everything away, grabbed my skates and walked out the door on my way tot he park. As i walked out the door, I wasn't paying attention to where i was going and I ran into someoone again. I looked up and saw it was the same guy I ran into yesterday. But this time he was with someone else. He was shorter and had blonde curly hair.
"I'm so sorry, again." I said not walking off this time.
"Are we gonn keep metting like this?" The one I ran into yesterday asked?
"I guess so. Sorry to bother you. Have a nice day." I walked off before he could say anything.
It was only about a thirty minute walk to get to the pond. I found a spot to sit down and put on my skates. I got onto tothe ice. There wasn't alot of people but there was enough, where you waould have to be carful. There was a bunch of little boys and a couple, couples. I started off slow then I started to pick up my pace. I was minding my own business when I saw parents who looked like they had triplets and were teaching them how to skate. They were having difficulties because there was three of them and only two of them so I went up to them.
"Do you need help?" I asked the husband/father.
He looked up at me. "We could use all the help we can get haha."
"Haha alright.' I said.
I skated over to the little boy that was just sitting on the ice.
"Here let me help you buddy." I said holding my arms out so he could take them. I helped him stand up and i did one lp pulling him so he could ge the feel of the ice.
"Do you wanna try now?" I asked him. He noddded his head. I showed him how to do skate and then he started to do it. He could do it when I was holding onto him but as soon as I let go he feel. I went over to him and told him to do it again. I let go again and this time he made it a little bit farther before falling again. We kept doing it over and over gain til he finally got the hang of it and was sorta doing it on his own. He wasn;t skating the best way but he was doing it all by himself and that is all that matters.
It got dark and I relazied that I had completely lost track of time. It was around 6 and everybody at the pond left. The family I helped out said thank you, before leaving. I was debating if I should stay or go, but I decided to stay. I had the whole ice to my self and I was not going to waste that. I started off slow then I started to pick up my speed. I was doing some tricks and skating backwards. I was doing everything I could do. It was about 6:30 when I noticed a bunch of cars go by and park at the Untied Center. I stoped what I was doing and went to the end of the pond to see it was. A bunch of guys got out of their cars and were walking to the building. I didnlt recognize any of them. some of them looked over at me and others didn't. I was just about to go back to skating when I thought I saw someone I recognized. It looked like the guy I ran into earlier but I couldn't really tell becasue it got dark. I skated for about 2 more hours until I decided I had enough. I got off the ice, putt on my boots and started my journey back to my apartment.
I decided I would walk past the United Center to maybe see what was going on inside. I had just reached the main doors when the guys that walked in earlier walked out. I was too scared to keep going so I stopped and pretended to look at the sign, so I would look busy.
"Hey your the girl I keep running into." someone came up from behind me. I jumped and turned around to meet those eyes that were looking at me.
"Yeah that's me." I said awarkdly.
"What are you doing out here for?" He asked me.
I lifted up my skates. " I was skating on the pond over there.' I said looking towards the pond.
'Oh I see. Are you a good skater?' He asked me.
"i think so haha." I said, sounding stupid as ever. All he did was laugh. "Well it's getting late so I better be heading home." I said about to turn around and start walking.
"Wait, Whats your name?" He asked me.
I turned back around to face him. "Alyse."
"Well it is nice to meet you Alyse. I'm Jonathan." He said sticking out his hand for me to shake.
I shook his hand. "Well I gotta go. Maybe I'll see you around."
"Hopefully." was the last thing he said before I walked away.
The temperature had dropped alot and I was freezing. I had my hands in my pocket, my chin and mouth in my coat and my head was down. I was just half way down Madiosn St. when I heard a car pull up on the side of the road.
"Alyse. Do you need a ride?" The guy in the car asked me. "It's Jonathan."
'No it is okay. Thank you though." I said looking at him.
"Please. It is so cold out." He pleaded.
It was really cold and he was right. I was freezing. "Are you sure. I don;t want to make it a hastle." I asked.
"No your fine. I have nothing to do anyways. Now come on." He said.
I walked over to his car and I noticed that it was Mercedes. I got in the passanger seat and looked at him.
"Thank you so much." I said to him. God, his eyes were just gorgeous.
"It's okay. It;s too cold for you to be walking out there.' He smiled at me. "Now where do you live?'
"I live at West 77 apartments." I said to him.
"I know exactly where that is. I live at Village Green apartments." He said. Those apartments are really nice. I wonder what he does for a living.
"Oh wow. Those look so nice." i said.
"Yeah they are. They work for me." He said.
"Haha thats good at least." I said.
We talked about all the sights in the city but nothing personal about us which i was perfecetly okay with.
"Well here we are." He said pulling up to the apartment entrance.
"Thank you so much." I said,before getting out of the car.
"It is no problem. Have a good night." He said when I was out of the car.
"Yoou too." I said. I closed the door and watched as he drove off.
I sttod there thinking about everyhting. That was the first time I had actually talked to a boy with out looking dumb. That boy is doing something to my head. I was deep into my thoughs that I jumped out of them when someone bumped into me....again. I walked to my room and called for Bandit.
"Bandit, gotta go pottty?" I yelled. He cam running out and satred to do his little dance. I took him out potty and watched him go. When we cam back in I gave him a treat to reward him. I took my coat, hats and glove off. I went and got some paper towel so I could wipe the blade of my skates off. After they were cleaned I put them away and ecided to take a shower. When I cleaned my shower off I realized I wasn;t all that tired so I decided I would lay on my couch and watch a movie til I was tired. I grabbed the quilt that my grandma made me and sprewled out on the couch. Bandit came and curled right next to me. I decided to watch Bad Grandpa. It was my favorite movie. It was so fuuny, I could watch it everyday. Before I knew it I fell asleep on the couch during the movie with Bandit right next to me.
