"I...um....I wasn't aware that that your family would be coming today, no one told me it was going to be an arranged meeting..." --- She tried to sound confident but couldn't make eye contact with Aarav. Daya looked at anything else except him.
"Thats fine. I'll get right to the point, I'm not interested in this marriage." --- Aarav couldn't let a pretty girl come in and ruin everything. He decided to tell her the truth, and have her back off on her own.
Daya left her heart sink after hearing Aarav say he didn't want to be married to her.... ~ why doesn't he want to marry me? Am I not good enough for him?
Daya looked right into his eyes and spoke with a shaky voice --- "Do you mind telling me the reason why you don't want to marry me?"
Aarav couldn't think straight with her beauiful eyes looking into his, he was completely awestruck by this girl, he didn't how to tell her about his fathers infidelity and how that changed the way he saw his father and the way his mother acted like nothing was wrong in front of the kids, how she acted, hiding her true feelings, filled him with rage.
"Listen Divya..is it? You're not my type. HA! I mean look at you, wearing a saree. I hate young woman wearing saree's. I like my woman to dress modern, sexy. You..You look like a little boy. A scrawny little boy, you have nothing I can grab onto. And not to mention, you are short as hell! How tall are you? 4ft? I am very popular in the business world, I need a girl whose gone make me look good. Someone I can bring to events. I wouldn't wanna be caught dead with an ugly thing like you. Should I continue or are these enough reasons for you?"
Daya couldn't believe what she was hearing, how could someone say such things...how could he... ~ stupid idiot doesn't even know my name! ~ Daya thought.
"Daya. My name is Daya. If you don't like me, you can go tell our parents." --- Saying this Daya went to open her door and stepped out and waited for Aarav to come out of her room, when she saw that he hadn't budged, she left and went straight to the living room to see her parents and tell him how much of an asshole he is and that she would rather stay unmarried forever than marry him.
When Daya arrived at the living room, the site in front of her was not what she was expecting. There was a Pundit sitting in the middle of the living room, looking at both of their horoscopes to see how compatible they were. Daya couldn't go in now and ruin this by talking bad about Aarav, especially in front of a pundit. She had to tell Aarav about this, he will have to take care of this. After all, he's the one who doesn't want to marry her.
Daya turned around fast and smashed into a hard surface. Wincing in pain, she looked up to see what she had hit and saw Aarav looking down at her, she barely came up to his chest.
Daya tried to take a step back but she couldn't move. Aarav had his right arm tightly around the small of her back, his left on her small waist, and was holding her close to his body. Aarav didn't want to let go, he liked the close proximity. The feel of her breasts pressed against his rock hard muscles, the scent of her hair, how perfectly his hand fits on her tiny waist.
Daya tried to push his chest away from her but her small frame couldn't do anything. She felt her body get hot, it was getting hard to control her breathing, His scent was infiltrating her nostrils and she was losing control of her senses. She has never felt this before, she's never been this close to a male before.
"Didi!
HAHAHA! OH MY GOD YOU GUYS! They haven't even fixed a wedding date! Get off each other!" ~ Reshma.
