I do hope you guys read my little snippets before reading the story because this is the forum where I show my gratitude and express my apologies:)

RECAP:He let a chuckle out as she went by, and followed her to the table and took a seat next to his father with a smile on his face. Aarav's parents couldn't believe what they were seeing, they haven't seen Aarav smile in ages. his mom rushed over to him and started serving him food, she didn't want this moment to end.

Daya was still very confused and upset- she did not take mental health lightly and she had friends who struggled with their own issues... She decided to bring it up to Aarav later in private.

That night, Daya went up to their bedroom with the intention of having a heart to heart conversation with Aarav.  As she made her way up the stairs, Sneha called out to her~ "Daya, can I talk to you?"~ Daya turned around with a smile, always willing to have a chat with her mother-in-law whom she adores so much. ~"yes aunty, I'll come down."

Daya went down the stairs with a spring in her steps,~"Beta, I told you to call me amma!" with a slight blush, Daya said~"sorry, amma"~ Sneha and Daya walked side by side talking about that days events and how much Aarav has changed, then Sneha got a serious look on her face, ~"Daya, I have to tell you something that is not a fun subject, and I need you to have an open mind toward it, also I need you to promise me that you will not share this information with anyone else, you are a part of this family now, this should remain within our family."

Daya looked into Sneha's eyes which was now filled with tears, she looked miserable and desperate. Daya took a deep breath and nodded her head, slowly exhaling.

Sneha took a few steps and sat on the couch, and waited for Daya to follow.

Daya was trying to figure out what could be so serious that Sneha would start to tear up-then it hit her that this must be regarding Aarav, maybe Sneha was going to hell Daya about Aarav's personality disorder, what Daya fears and doubted was going to be true.

Daya walked over and sat next to Sneha thinking she could handle whatever Sneha had to say about Aarav. Sneha took Daya's hand in hers and gave it a slight squeeze and spoke~"Daya, I have to tell you about the relationship Aarav and his father has, its complicated and very hard, and if anyone is at fault it is me. I should have been more careful with my personal life with my husband, I should have taken better care of my children, protected them from my issues.."

Sneha went on to tell her daughter-in-law about the infidelity of her husband, how Aarav has felt betrayed and disgusted with his father since he found out and why he went his separate ways and is living a separate life even though they share the same roof.

Daya stood dumbfounded as she took everything in at once, It was past midnight and thery have been talking for over an hour, Sneha answered every question Daya, but Sneha could tell Daya was holding something back.~"Daya, ask me what you want to know dear, I've answered all these, I would not lie to you, what else do you want to know?"

Daya thought about if she should ask, then decided since they talked about this major secret which Sneha didn't even need to share, then she thought talking about Aarav would not be a bad thing.~"Aunt..I mean amma.. I am worried about Aarav..he seems like a different person one day and then other times..I don't know, maybe something personality wise..?

Sneha chuckled and said~"Oh sweetie no, Aarav is just very scared he is going to end up with someone who will break his heart, he is a very sensitive boy at heart, who felt betrayed by his own father out of the blue, he felt like his whole life was a lie and he still has not recovered from that..but I can see that you have a strong impact on him, both of your horoscopes are a perfect match! Daya, you bring sunshine into this family and into Aarav's life, he needs that light. Don't worry about his mental health. I would never put another woman at risk for my own children. remember I have a daughter myself too!"

Daya felt at ease after hearing that, she felt warm and wanted to see Aarav, she felt bad for denying him..

They said their good-nights or rather good-mornings because when they parted it was close to 1 AM- Daya went upstairs to her bedroom to find her husband sleeping soundly with his laptop on the side of the bed, and papers all throughout. Daya went to wash up and changed into her night gown. She gathered up the papers and placed them neatly on his desk with his laptop on top, she then got into bed with Aarav, with an open heart.
