ABANDONED

Hello! I know I know! I haven't updated in a long time! I know y'all are not happy with me!! But in my defense! I work all morning and go to school all night! I'm writing this in class after an exam haha! Enjoy! And I'll try to update soon!!! Muahhhh!!!!

Daya walked around the beautiful temple, she felt at peace being in the temple, as if the gods were taking her stress and worry away, and replacing it with hope and dreams for the future. Daya stood in front of a Banyan Fig Tree, spread her arms wide open, closed her eyes and with her face up to the sky, breathed in the fresh clean air.
Daya loved nature and always wanted to travel the world. She looked down at her thali and thought of her wedding day. ~"one day...before I die, I will make my around this world."~ Daya said as a dare to the gods.
"DAYA!"
Daya jumped when she heard the yelling. She turned around and saw her brother standing with his arms wide open. Days walked towards Karthik laughing ~"how come you never show me any affection when people are around?"~Daya said as she hugged Karthik.
"Can't let them know I love ya."~Karthik said hugging his older sister tight. He didn't want to let her go.
"Karthi..you good?" ~Daya asked sensing her only brother was feeling emotional about having to separate today. ~"I'm just thinking about how the Sharma family is gonna deal with you...your gonna bankrupt them..you really gotta control your food intake sis."~Karthik said to tease his sister, he loved to make Daya mad.
Daya, after he's into this wanted to slap the day light out of her brother. But she couldn't get out of Karthik's tight hug.
"Karthi! I'm warming you! If you don't let go I will bite!"~ Daya said struggling to escape.
Karthik laughed at his sister~"Hahahaha"
"Karthiiiiii! Let go! Your hurting me you little shit!!!" ~Karthik did not appreciate being called names, in response he hugged Daya tighter and  yelled~ "Shit!? You bitch!!"

"Karthik! Daya! What is wrong with you!? Daya your married acting like a child! Karthi come here I should wash your mouth with soap for swearing in the temple!"~ Their mother came around the corner walking fast towards them. Karthik and Daya looked at each other and ran the opposite direction of their mother, laughing and remembering their childhood.

SOME TIME LATER IN THE SHANDI HOUSE

The Chandra and Sharma family were leaving SHANDI house and going their separate ways, and Daya was heading in a new direction, to her new family.
"Daya, beta I will miss you, come back soon okay?" ~Dadi said holding Daya's face.
"Yes, Dadi I will." Daya said feeling sad and anxious.
Daya walked away from the family and towards the cars ready to leave. She didn't expect to separate from her family so soon, but Aarav has to get back to his business. Even though Neerav left right after the weeding to manage their company, Aarav was needed in the meetings as well since they were in the middle of a huge international business deal and it's bad face to not have the founders of the company together.

The families came out of the house and said their goodbyes. Daya's father didn't say much to her, he couldn't handle separating from his first daughter. Daya's mother hugged her quickly, put her hand on Daya's head to bless her and left in a hurry with tears in her eyes. Daya stared at her mothers back. She wanted to call out to her amma but restrained herself in front of her siblings.
Daya turned to her twin troublemakers and said~"If you don't behave, I will come back!"
Reshma hugged Daya with all her strength and sobbed into Daya's shoulder. Karthik hugged them both for a second, then he slowly pulled Reshma away and they both got in the car and drove away.
Daya stood in the driveway, with tears rolling down her cheeks, feeling abandoned.
