End Up Here

Simon

Mortal AU: Pastel Punk(?) Simon who works at the coffee shop across the street from the flower shop. Who also attends college. Isabelle who works at a flower shop. Valentine's Day.

There are flowers everywhere and it's not that Simon hates flowers it's that Simon is seriously allergic to them. Gosh, they make his nose run and his eyes get watery. It makes him look like he's about to cry. And if one more person comes into the shop with a bouquet of flowers, he might just explode. He smiles at the customer in front of them and then nods at them as he walks to the stainless steel coffee machine. As soon as his back is facing them the smile slips from his face. It takes him a few second to notice that his reflection is staring back at him. It's unnerving. His light pastel pink silver hair is ruffled up in a crazy way almost like he didn't brush it, he actually forgot to this morning but that's not the point, his eyes look sunken. This causes him to frown more. He looks like a train wreck. That last exam really did a number on him. Simon bottled the coffee for the customer and smiled at the man who thanked him for the drink.

"Simon!" His boss calls to him. Simon looks up from the minute dust that he was cleaning on the counter.

"Yes sir?" He asks in response to the man, walking slowly towards him.

Simons stops a few feet away from his boss, "Can you deliver these five drinks to the flower shop across the street? The manager asked for them and since she gave us some flowers I told her that we'd bring them some coffee."

Simon looks outside the window to view the clearly seen line that exits the flower shop. Internally he cries a little, but he smiles at his boss. "Sure thing sir! I'll be back as soon as possible."

His boss laughs, "It's fine take your time, Kristen can handle things up here. There is practically no one here at the moment."

"Right." Simon mutters before taking the coffee from his boss and heads to the door. The flowery air hits him full force once he gets outside the safety confines of his workplace. He sniffles a little but doesn't sneeze. Thank goodness. He frowns again at the line pouring out of the flower shop.

He walks to the stop light to cross the busy street. He waited among the twenty or so people who stood at the light waiting to walk. He got some weird looks from a few people, sure he was a six foot two guy with light pastel pink silvery hair and some facial piercings, but he honestly wouldn't hurt a fly. Simon absentmindedly played with his lip ring. The light was taking forever. He let out a sigh as the light finally allowed him and the twenty other people to cross the street. He turned left and headed in the direction of the flower shop.

"Uh, excuse me, excuse me, I have a coffee delivery to make. Can I get through?" Simon asked the crowd of people in the doorway of the shop. For the most part people got out of the way, some of them did try to fight him, but ended up not once they looked at him. He doesn't think he looks scary, but he guesses his tall statue, tattoos and piercings are slightly scary. He's not sure how a tattoo of a butterfly could be scary but he's not judging them.

Once he finally made it up to the front of the store with the coffee, he notices a girl with long black hair pulled up into a high pony tail and that she was insanely busy. Simon noticed that there were five different bouquets in front of her as she went about organizing them. Simon decided to wait until the girl got a chance to breath.

The girl handed over the bouquets to the five people waiting, "Thank you for your patience."

"Excuse me," Simon told the man at the register and before the man could say anything in retaliation Simon continued. "I have the coffee you guys ordered. What would you like me to with them?"
