Taylor didn't hesitate to run after Danielle. Taylor bolted after her ignoring the shouts from the group. Taylor could only see Danielle's back far in front of her. They both ran farther and farther into the forest. Taylor's chest burned as she kept going. Taylor slowed down losing sight of Danielle. She let her back hit a tree and slid down it and sat on the ground. She sat breathing deeply listening to the sounds of the forest. Without thinking she began to sing quietly. She began to sing When the Day met the Night. "When the moon fell in love with the sun. All was golden in the sky. All was golden when the day met the night. When the sun found the moon. She was drinking tea in a garden. Under the green umbrella trees. In the middle of summer. When the moon found the sun. He looked like he was barely hanging on. But her eyes saved his life. In the middle of summer." She got up and started to walk just letting her mind wonder. She didn't know or care where she was going. She just wondered while singing quietly. "So he said, "Would it be alright. If we just sat and talked for a little while. If in exchange for your time. I give you this smile?. So she said, That's okay. As long as you can make a promise. Not to break my little heart Or leave me all alone in the summer." Well he was just hanging around. Then he fell in love. And he didn't know how. But he couldn't get out. Just hanging around. Then he fell in love." Something came over her and she just started to run. She dashed through the trees as tears streamed down her face. Taylor didn't see the girl as she slammed right into her. They both went crashing to the ground. Taylor got up with tears still streaming down her face. "S-sorry" She sniffled looking away from Danielle. "I understand why he calls you songbird." Danielle said also looking away. "Who? You mean Alec?" Taylor said looking towards Danielle. "Yeah..." Danielle trailed off looking away. "Danny?" Taylor said stepping forward. Danielle looked at her. "Danny I'm so fucking happy you're back." Taylor clasped her arms around Danielle quickly then pulled away. "Let's go get some ice-cream or something?" She asked her. "I saw it. I saw that bottle." Danielle took Taylor's wrist and ran to the right of where they were standing. Taylor followed a little confused but, her mind flashed back to the dream. Danielle stopped at a tree. She picked up the small bottle off the ground and handed it to Taylor. "Go ahead." She said nodding to Taylor. "You're saying I should just drink it." She said while uncorking the bottle. "Yeah do it." Danielle said nodding again. Taylor put the bottle to her lips and threw it back. A thick liquid ran down her throat while thick fog clouded her vision. Her whole body felt numb as she fell to the ground. Everything washed by like it was stuck in fast forward. Everything flooded back. All the memories. All the symbols. Everything. The fog cleared but then the cold followed. This time the frigid ice seemed to warp around her. She couldn't feel anything and just waited for the nightmare to be over.
