Chapter 9

*Stiles's POV*

Finally, school was out and the weekend is here. Since Scott has detention, I guess I was alone. I climbed into the Jeep truck, heading my way home. When I got in the house, it was quiet. My dad must be still at work, so I just hung out in the living room and watched some television. I got bored after a few minutes and decided to go in my dad's room, going through his important work files. There were a lot of cases of murders, some were completed and some were not. I threw them all on the table, not finding any of them amusing.

"All these photos are boring!" I frowned.

Then, something had fallen on the floor. Another file with a photo attached, that had the name "Jennifer" on it. With curious eyes, I picked it up and stared at the picture. She looked like she was in her twenties and was beautiful. Her eyes were sky blue and she had red hair. It says that she was murdered by some animal in the woods, but no one doesn't know where her body is.

"I gotta tell Scott!" I said and took my Iphone out of my pocket, texting Scott quickly.

*Scott's POV*

I'm sitting here in Math detention, continually writing down lines from the board that says:"I wont be late to school". I felt a buzz in my pocket, my Samsung galaxy was going off. Thankfully, it was on vibrate because my teacher would have taken it. Phones weren't allowed in detention and your parents have to pick it up the next day if so. While the teacher had her back on the board, I quickly slide out my phone and saw "New Message From: Stiles".

I rolled my eyes and whispered, "What now? I thought I told him im in dentention!"

The message read: "Guess what I found"

I replied, "Not now, I'm in detention! Ms. Johnson my see me on my phone".

"No, its another murder case from my dad! Look, I went through his files as usual and found this lady named Jennifer. It says she's in her twenties and was attacked by some wild animal. But, her body was never found in the woods. Dude, we gotta go find her body or see what attacked her!"

"Alright, meet in the woods after detention!"

"Okay!"

I turned off my phone in order to save battery and slid it back in my pocket. Next thing you know, the bell rung and detention was over. "Finally!" I thought and rushed out the classroom. Just before I was about to exit the building, a voice had called my name from behind. I recognized that sweet voice and it was Sky's. I turned around, smiling at her.

"Why leaving in such a hurry?" she asked, walking up.

"Oh, I have some place to be. I suppose to be meeting up with someone in the woods!"

Sky lift an eyebrow, "The woods? What for??"

"Uh, I...er... nothing important!" I said, trying to find a good way to lie.

"Oh, well...anyways, I was going to ask you if you want to join me at Mimi's party tomorrow? Lydia,Allison, and Princess are going to be there. Its going to be a blast, all the juniors are going to show up while Mimi's parents are out for the weekend! It would be nice if you can come, but if not I understand..." she said.

I smiled, touching her hand. "No, going to a party sounds great. I would love to go with you, only if Stiles can join?"

"Of course, then I'll pair him up with Lydia while drunk!" she chuckled.

I laughed, "Sounds like an awesome plan!"

We both left out the building together, as the school began to close. I heard her dad's car horn, seeing him pull inside the parking lot. She faced in front of me, smiling warmly and held both of my hands. I smiled,  trying hard not to blush but then thought about Stiles. I'm going to be late meeting him at the woods, just to think of it. But, I couldn't rush this good moment with Sky.

"So, see you tomorrow?"

I nodded, "Yup, I'll pick u up!"

She quickly leaned over, kissing my cheek and then rushed over to her dad's car who continuously honked. My cheeks were a mixture of pink and red. I smiled widely and stood frozen. I remember this feeling with Allison, but it was more different. I kiss from Sky was like being kissed from an enchanted rose. "Dam..." I thought, while day dreaming and walking towards the woods still smiling.

*Stiles's POV*

After waiting patiently for Scott to show up, I finally spotted him up the trial and rushed over.

"Dude, where the hell have you been? I was just about to call!" I said frowning.

Scott didn't say anything but, stood there smiling as if he was day dreaming. I waved my hand in his face, trying to get him back into reality.

"Hello, earth to Scott?"

Scott shook his head, "Oh, sorry!"

"Where were you man? I got worried, thinking you either forgot or something bad happened!" I said.

"I was with Sky, she asked me out to a party and then kissed my cheek. I just felt...wow!" he explained, still smiling.

I rolled my eyes, not giving two fucks about him and Sky right now. "Can we please find the missing body, then talk about this girl Sky later? Ugh, you did the same thing with Allison!"

"Alright, alright Stiles. Now, where would you think the body would be located?" he asked, started to walk ahead.

I shrug my shoulders, "I have no idea, but let's go this way!" I said, leading us into a different direction.

We saw a sign that said "Beware" and "Turn around". Scott stopped and stood beside me, lifting an eyebrow. "Hmmmm, I wonder who put up these signs?"

I rolled my eyes again, walking ahead and going pass the signs. "Man, who cares? The body must be up in here. Besides, I think I see some sort of building ahead!"

After climbing over so many dead trees and branches, we came across an old building that look like it has been tore down may years ago.

"Whoa..." I said.

Scott started looking around, sniffing the air. Just before I was about to walk towards the building, he pulled me back. I frowned at him again.

"What are you doing?!"

He sniffed the air again and his werewolf eyes glowed. "There's others..."

"Who? You mean, werewolves??" I asked curiously.

He nodded, "Yes, but more of them. This is there territory and we step foot on their land, this could mean trouble or death!"

"Maybe their the ones that killed Jennifer and probably kept her body!" I wondered.

Scott started turning around, "Let's just go before anyone finds us here"

I started to follow, but then stopped over a sudden noise. I turned back around, facing the building. I didnt see anything, so I went back following Scott. Then out of no where, we were both knocked down and rolling down a hill. I got up, then Scott.

"What the hell?" I said, looking around strangely.

"Werewolves!" Scott frowned, showing out his claws and fangs.

I watched Scott transform, while stepping back to give him space. I was always afraid to stand by him when he was in his wolf form. I hid behind a tree, then saw him get knocked down again.

"Scott!" I yelled.

He slowly got up, roaring with anger. "Show yourself!" he shouted.

Out from the dark shadows appeared a girl. She looked very familiar and had emerald green eyes that glowed like Scott's red eyes. Once the moon light reflected on her face, I then knew who she was.

"Valentine?" I whispered.

She was the school's top bully, but we wondered how she became a werewolf and this strong. What was she doing out here far from Beacon Hills? She's hiding something and we're about to find out now.
