Chapter 45

*Lydia's POV*

Me and Stiles were both standing on my front porch. He was about to leave and go home, it was almost seven and he was here all day long. Too bad, I was going to miss him and I hate when he leaves. I really enjoy Stiles when he's here.

I grabbed both of his hands, standing in front of him and made sad puppy eyes. "You sure you have to go?"

He chuckled a bit and smiled, "Yes, Lydia. My dad is probably worried about me!"

"So, tell him your at my house!"

He kissed my cheek and then walked to the drive thru, hopping into his jeep truck.

"I'll call you tonight!"

I waved sadly, "Okay, love you!"

Just before Stiles was about to pull off, Ethan, Aden, Isaac, and Allison appeared out of no where in front of his truck. Luckily Stiles stopped his truck just in time, he could of almost hit them. I rushed over to see what was up and why were they at my house.

"Um, why are you guys here?" I asked, curiously. "It's after six!"

"We need you and Stiles to come with us!" said Ethan.

Stiles got out his jeep, leaving his car door open. "For what?"

"It's Derrek's orders" said Allison.

"We need more fighters to help us defeat Zach and his group of coyotes. You guys seem perfect!" said Aden.

I put my hands on my hips. "Um excuse me, but I have homework that's due tomorrow at school and plus not to mention...I have to polish my toe nails before I go to bed. I seriously need a pedicure! I have no time for fighting tonight..."

Isaac took a few steps forward to me. "Oh come on Lydia, the pack needs you!"

Stiles nodded, "Yeah, im joining no matter what!"

I looked at Stiles, "What about your father?"

"What about him?" he asked. "He'll be fine, I'll just tell him I'll be home a few mintues late!"

Allison chuckled a bit, "Good luck with that lie!"

Ethan started walking off, "Come on guys, we need to get back to Derrek's place before it's time!"

Aden, Allison, and Isaac followed behind Ethan into the woods. Me, I hopped inside of Stiles jeep as he drove off down the road. Driving seemed quicker than walking. They could of at least gotten a ride from us, but it might not be enough room. Only three could sit in the back. I gotta feeling someone might die tonight...that person may be me...

*Scott's POV*

Me and Sky were inside of Derrk's black chevy. He picked us up after he took Princess home and dropped off Sky's little sister Kayla. It was almost fighting time and I was ready. I looked back at Sky who was sitting in the back seat quiet and nervous. I could tell she was afriad and this will be her first time fighting as a werewolf.

I smiled at her, "Dont worry Sky, everything will be fine!"

She sighed, "I got a feeling someone might die tonight. Im probaly going to be the first..."

"Dont say that." said Derrek. "Nobody's going to die..well at least I hope not. If someone does, tha'll probably be me instead!"

I frowned, looking at the car window. "No one's going to die okay! We're all good fighters, we can take this one...I know we can. Just gotta believe and trust ourselves..."

"Sure.." Derrek had mumbled and stopped the car in the middle of the woods.

We all got out and stood around the car, waiting for the others to return and meet us here. Just then, Stiles jeep pulled up. Him and Lydia gotten out and walked towards us with smiles.

"Im ready to kick some coyote butt!" Stiles smiled.

"Yeah, where are they?" Lydia asked, looking around.

Derrek looked at his phone, "They should be here soon. All we can do is wait!"

Then, Aliison, Ethan, Aden, and Isaac arrived.

"We're here!" Issac smiled.

"So, everyone know their positions and how to fight right?" I asked.

They all nodded. "Yes!"

Derrek patted my back. "I think that's my job Scott to make sure everyone is on task. But, good!"

I smirked, "Oh, sure..."

I then noticed Allison was here. I looked her slowly, she didnt seem to see me and was having some conversation with Isaac. She was laughing and he was smiling. Interesting....

Just before I was about to walk up, Sky pulled me back lifting an eyebrow.

"Uh, where are you going?" she asked.

I looked around, "Um..no where!"

She crossed her arms. "Mhm, sure you were. Just let her be Scott, she's with Isaac it seems. No to mention you have me now!"

I smiled at her, holding one of her hands. "Your right!"

Suddenly, there were loud barking sounds coming far ahead. We all looked around our surroundings and paused.

"There coming!" said Derrek.

It was time...time to fight for our territory and town. Some may make it, some may die tonight. Im just hoping im not the one be deceased just yet. My duty is to protect my pack...im not just any alpha...im a powerful alpha.
