Chapter 43

*Sky's POV*

I was at the park, baby sitting my eight year old sister while my parents went out. I was bored, sitting on the swings. I was watching my sister play tag with the other kids. Too bad I didn't have anyone to talk to. I looked down at the ground and sighed.

Just before I was about to jump off the swing, something or someone had covered my eyes. I figured it was my little sister playing one of her games.

"Okay, Kayla. You can let my eyes free now!" I said, with a small laugh.

"You sure its Kayla?! said a deep voice.

I removed the hands away from my eyes and smiled. I knew who it was, it was my boyfriend Scott.

"Scott, what are you doing here? I thought you were at Derrek's place. You know, training and stuff!"

He grabbed a swing beside me and sat down. "I did. He said we're going to train one more time in the evening with the rest of the pack! You sure you'll be able to attend?"

I nodded, but then looked so unsurely. "I mean, yeah I guess."

"You know you don't have to go. With me, Derrek, Issac, the twins, Stiles, Lydia, and well I think Allison...we'll be fine!"

I looked at Scott in the eyes and reached over to grab his hand. "I'm coming no matter what."

Scott sighed a bit. "But what if you get hurt?"

I smiled, "I'm a werewolf now, I think I can handle it. Besides, how big can a coyote be?"

"Oh, there big alright. Almost big as us werewolves! I mean, haven't you seen Maliya?"

I looked confused, "Maylia? Who the hell is that??"

"She's a girl that goes to our school remember? She's in our science class!"

"Ooh, the quiet one that sits in the back? I knew she was something, I just didn't know what it was."

He turned his head away, watching the kids climb the monkey bars. "Yeah, she's good friends with me and Stiles now. We saved her from the woods once and returned her back to her father. That was like way before you came here..."

I looked down, thinking. "Oh.."

He looked back at me and smiled. "Come on, lets go climb monkey bars!"

"Okay!" I chuckled, following him over.

*Princess's POV*

Its been an entire day since I haven't talked to Derrek. My phone continues to buzz every hour from him. Each time he calls, I press the red "End" button. I know he's trying to apologize, but its going to take more than just an apology. I'm a different kind of girl.

I wonder what Sky was up to. I quickly dialed her number and put her on speaker.

(Sky and Princess's Phone Convo)

Sky: Hello?

Princess: Hey, what you doing?

Sky: Baby sitting my little sister with her friends at the park and spending time with Scott silly self. What you doing?

Princess: Oh, and how is that baby sitting if your with Scott. You know you get distracted so easily when he's around. You better be watching Kayla!"

Sky: (laughs on phone) She's okay Princess! Me and Scott are sitting on the bench watching her now. We just got down climbing monkey bars..."

Princess: "Monkey bars, seriously?"

Sky: Uh, ya!

Princess: Any who, I'm coming down there!

Sky: Okay, we'll wait here then!

Princess: Alright, bye!

Sky: Bye!

Once I hung up, I quickly threw on a tank top and a nice pair of shorts. I tied up black Nike shoes and headed out the door with my phone and a bag of Taki's because I was hungry...xD
