Sydel's POV

I slept in the guest room across the hall from Giselle and Stephen's room and I didn't say anything to Giselle last night but Stephen told me that she had gotten sick and didn't feel very well. I went to check on her before I went to sleep and she claimed that she had felt better and that all she needed was rest and she would be 100% by the morning. I had a feeling that I knew what was wrong with her and I mentioned it to Stephen again last night, I was met with wide eyes from him and he immediately shook his head no. I had a feeling that he was going to do that. I bet I'm right, but I'll let it slide for now. I threw the covers off of me and went to go and check on Giselle and see if she needed anything. I lightly knocked on their bedroom door and was met with a tiny 4 foot 11 Giselle on the other side who had her head wrapped, her pajama shirt twisted, a pair of black shorts, and her fluffy pink socks. She simply started rubbing her eyes when she saw me.

"Morning Elle, do you feel any better?" I asked while she came out into the hallway. She held up her finger and went to grab her glasses. When she came back we went and sat in their living room that was on the second floor of the house. I'm guessing that Stephen was still sleeping and she didn't want to wake him up. He has always been a heavy sleeper, but still.

"I feel fine now. It's weird, I'll feel like shit when I have to throw up and I can tell when it's about to happen, and then when I finish, I want to eat everything in sight."

"Giselle, do you think that maybe you're...?" I put both of my hands in a rocking motion as if I was holding a baby.

"What? No, I can't be." She said in disbelief.

"Are you absolutely positive?" Giselle and Stephen were the exact same way when you mentioned a baby. They would both get wide eyes and quickly shake their heads no.

"Well no, but I still don't think so."

"Giselle, come on. All the warning signs are there. I mean have you two been using protection?"

"Okay Doctor Sydel, I'll give myself another week and if whatever this is does not go away I'll buy a pregnancy test, deal?"

"Deal, but I mean it's not going to go away in a week. You better prepare yourself for the next nine months."

She immediately groaned and I could almost see her eyes start to water. I instantly pulled her into a hug.

"It's okay if you are Elle, no need to cry."

"But I'm not even finished with school, and I have my audition coming up, and my parents are really going to kill me this time! I'm only 20! The wedding was bad enough!" She exclaimed.

"Hey, you don't know any of that. You don't know what is going to happen so just calm down and we'll worry about that bridge when we get to it. Besides, even though you are 20, don't forget that you're married. A lot of 20 year olds who get pregnant aren't." She simply nodded her head.

"Well anyway, what time is our flight?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"It's at like 1 in the morning. I keep telling Stephen not to do that because I don't like my sleep interrupted. He learned that the hard way when I accidentally slapped him as he was trying to wake me up when we were leaving Vegas." She said while letting out a small laugh.

"Sounds just like him. Did you tell him yet?" I asked her while we turned on the TV to watch the morning news.

"Not yet. I'll probably try to before we leave, but I don't want to ruin the weekend with your family."

"Well it's your family now too and you wouldn't ruin it."

"I'm still going to wait. Maybe when we come back."
