Giselle's POV
Today was the start of the regular season for the Warriors and I couldn't be more excited. I had been watching the preseason games as much as I could while balancing school work. We weren't even halfway through the semester and I was already worn out but I refused to let anyone see it that way my mother couldn't rub it back in my face saying how she was right. Me and my dad's plan was going perfectly and I even got Stephen's parents in on it as well as Sydel. Seth is now playing for the Dallas Mavericks since he got traded last season. I had talked to Steph earlier before I had went to class and he had no idea I would be there waiting to cheer him on in the stands. He was a little out of it since I called him at 9 in the morning and I forgot about the time difference so it was only 6 over there. Baby Riley is still growing at the rate that she is supposed to and oh it's been confirmed that she's a girl last week.
I was too nervous to do it at my three month check-up so I put it off for two more months. I was now five months pregnant and big as ever and eating anything in sight. I mean I did that before, but I guess I'm doing it more frequently. Riley really loves Doritos because for the life of me I cannot stop eating them. And if you're wondering if I had talked to my mother the answer is no. I meant what I said, if she can't accept it she doesn't have to be a part of my life or my baby's. I don't understand how she is taking it out on the baby when she isn't even here yet. It was now 1 in the afternoon on the east coast and I was about to board the jet that my dad sent for me. It would be a lonely flight, but that is more sleep for me. When I landed, I would immediately go to my parent's house and then get ready for the game that started at 7:30. I was so excited to be able to see Stephen. It had been two months too long. Just when I got settled on the plane, my dad called to check up on me.
"Hey baby girl, are you on the plane?"
"Yes, just got on not too long ago." I responded while trying to adjust the pillow behind my back.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine, just hungry." I said while laughing.
"Well there's plenty of food there for you. I'm going to get you when you land and take you to the house to get settled in."
"Okay, sounds good."
"Your mother is here so you need to be civil."
"I'm always civil towards her daddy." I replied sweetly, but rolling my eyes at the same time.
"She wants to go to the game too." I immediately groaned.
"Daddy it was just supposed to be me, you, Dell, Sonya, and Sydel!" I exclaimed clearly upset by what he just told me.
"Giselle, be nice. She's trying her best to make it up to you. She feels as if she goes to the game it's showing you that she's trying."
"Uhh! Fine, but I'm not talking first so don't expect me to."
"Be on your best behavior. I'll see you soon. Love you."
"Love you more."
After I hung up with my dad, I pulled up Netflix on my tablet and began to watch Disney movies to pass the time. I got an alert from my Instagram saying that someone tagged me in a post. I opened the app to see a picture that Stephen posted and instantly smiled. This was when we were going to my two-month doctor's appointment and then we went to Chick-Fil-A after since that is literally our favorite fast food place and go there at least once a week. Since I got pregnant, me being vegan/vegetarian has kind of gone out the window. I'm literally craving everything.
