veronica-h is a rather popular werewolf, horror, romance, and thriller writer on Wattpad. At the time of making this, she has three books on the hot lists in their respective genres. They have roughly one thousand followers and a few very popular stories. Without further ado;

The interview:

veronica-h, what made you join Wattpad?

Ans: I first joined wattpad in 2014 but ended up closing the account because I had to study. I started out as a reader mostly. I would devour a book a day and it was honestly the most amazing part of my life. Eventually, the readings became a little repetitive so I decided to try out writing an idea that I couldn't find in any other book. As a writer, I think that was the beginning.

Who do you thank most on Wattpad, for helping you?

I sincerely want to thank @WillowNRoses. She was the first person who gave me an detailed comment about my complete book and it truly raised my spirits. Other than that, I want to thank @Ohiostategirl07 and @IceRequiem. They are the very first friends I made here. Also, @GirlReader133 she was my very first reader here and while she no longer reads my books, I think her votes and comments made me want to continue writing.

What is your favourite book on Wattpad?

I think the one book that I've read over and over and over is Amber: Read my Lips and The Black Knight. No matter how many times I read them, they still feel very much new to me. It's like I can't get bored of them.

What is your favourite of your own books?

Now, this is a little tough to answer. I love all the books that I've written so far. That's the reason why I was able to complete them. But if I really have to choose, I'll choose Firewood. It's not as good as my other works and the writing can improve a lot but the character of Adelaide spoke to me on a different level. At times, when I am scared or going through something hard, I try to imaging what she would do and try it out. I think she has a huge portion of me in her.

Do you have any ideas for a next novel? And, if so, can you give us a sneak peek?

I am currently going to start re-writing two books. But in terms of original works, yes, I do have an idea. I've never seen something like that floating around here so I have a feeling it might stand out. From what I've planned out, I can tell you this:

This book will be focused on the exposure of werewolf world. The main lead, a male, will have to stop the exposure legally. He won't be able to rip apart the hunter's throat out. He'll have to fight a somewhat legal battle to make sure werewolves remain hidden and perhaps, at the same time he might find his mate.

It's going to be my third book in the Firewood series. But I've made is such that each book can be read as a stand alone.

Last, but not least, who is your idol as an author?

On Wattpad, I think my idol is @greenwriter. I admire her works a lot. She has so, so many of them that just seeing her profile inspires me to write.

Off Wattpad, I think Rowling is my favourite author. It goes without saying that I am a Potterhead but reading Harry Potter is something that inspires me. I've read the books five times already and it hasn't gotten old. She's an inspiration.
