@words_are_weapons is a great writer, proven by two of his books being in the top twenty of Sci-Fi and one in the top thirty of Fantasy. The two fore-mentioned look very interesting, and I plan to read them both. He has agreed to let me interview him, and it will come soon!
What made you join Wattpad?
Another user on here (though I don't think he's that active right now) JulianAR introduced me. I was reading some of his work on another writing site and he suggested I give Wattpad a try. I did, and here I am!
Who do you thank most here on Wattpad, for helping you?
Probably Julian again for helping me find me feet, but more recently Smilies and JamicMc because those two really made me feel welcome on Wattpad. The three of us have been exchanging feedback for a while now and they're just a fun pair to know
What is your favourite book on Wattpad (Other than your own)?
Favourite Wattpad book? That's a toughie. I've enjoyed loads but I guess I could pick a couple that stand out. Raven's Wings by musicalsweets is one that I don't get to read as often as I like but it's an absolute belter of a story with great writing. Furtive Affairs by Smilies is the one I'm hooked on right now though.
What is your favourite of your own books?
My favourite out of the books I've written is probably The Planet That Space Forgot. It's one I don't really have all the bits and pieces worked out for though, which is why it's been stuck at 14 chapters for a long time. I will be going back to it though! I have cunning plans, I just have to sort of...join the dots, if you know what I mean.
Do you have any ideas for a next novel? And, if so, can you give us a sneak peek?
I have too many ideas, a problem a lot of people on Wattpad will understand. I have a Greek Mythology novel in mind, a political/war novel, a military SF one, a horror novella, the list goes on. I need to try and just keep my focus on what's up now. Eclipse is my most recent addition to the Wattpad collection so I'm sticking with that right now.
Last, but not least, who is your idol, as an author?
My idol would probably be Robert Heinlein if I had to pick one, though it'll be a long, long time before I can start writing things like him. Some of the best science fiction writing you'll ever read!
