"Alright, we'll be there tomorrow." Zion whispered quietly into the telephone.

Both her and Kanda had been on a train for hours, and now the sun had set and they hadn't reached their stop near the coast of Asia. Neither spoke much, but Zion occasionally asked the silent man if he was hungry or wanted something to drink. Typically, he replied with a snort, but if she was lucky, he responded with a subtle nod.

Zion slid open the door to their small compartment that they had slept and ate in for the past several hours. She sighed when she received no acknowledgment. She sat on her respective seat, crossing both her legs and arms.

"We're supposed to intercept a team of Exorcists at our stop." The brunette stated, hoping to get some sort of response. Kanda didn't even look at her. "And we'll be spending a week on a ship with them in order to return to Europe." She saw Kanda's eyebrow twitch.

"With who?" He asked venomously.

"I don't know. Komui just said that we will be meeting with Exorcists from the European Branch. I don't know who or when they'll be there." Zion responded irritably.

"Then that must mean I have to spend several more days with you..." Kanda growled, resulting in a shocked expression crossing the girl's face. Out of pure instinct, she balled the coat that she had used previously as a pillow.

"You're so mean!" She threw the coat at the cold man, attempting to use all of her strength to inflict some sort of pain. While he didn't seem to be in pain, his attention snapped towards her.

"Why the hell did you do that?!" Kanda raised his voice, ready to cut her head off of her shoulders.

"'Cause you're mean." Zion sat back in her seat, crossing her arms again while pouting her lip.

"Tch. You're like a stupid little dog." Instead of defending herself, the girl tried to defend the puppies that he just insulted.

"Dogs are not stupid! You probably kill puppies in your sleep you cruel human being!" Zion yelled, no rising from her seat angrily once again.

To her surprise, the cold Exorcist chuckled, allowing a devious and cruel smile to play on his lips. "Heh, 'Pup' is a lot better than that..." He whispered to himself.

"What?" The brunette questioned.

"You're name is 'Pup.'" He chuckled again. Zion had to admit she was slightly hurt that he wouldn't refer to her by her name.

"No it's not." She pouted.

"It's better than Zion." Kanda grunted.

"So, you only talk to make tease me?!" The girl grumbled. The man's smile disappeared before turning away from her to look out of the window, ignoring her once again. "You're so irritating!" Zion stormed from their compartment and down the hall of the train, with no particular destination in mind.

How rude! Why does he piss me off so much?! Zion shouted curses in her mind. She found herself walking towards the very back of the train, and she threw open the sliding door and took a large breath of crisp air. She released her straight hair from its tie, letting it flap as the train's quick pace brought wind through it. She supported herself on the railing, watching the tracks pass below her.

The fresh air had done the trick. I only overreacted. She conversed with her thoughts. It was being combined in that cabin all day that irritated me. That's right, the cabin. I shouldn't be this angry.

Zion took another large gulp of night air before returning to the inner halls of the train. She found the compartment that she only had to stay in for a few more hours. She slid open the door quietly, but surprise crossed her face when she saw Kanda sitting in the same position, but in a different state. He was almost relaxed, leaning his head back against the plush seat, taking slow breaths. The brunette couldn't help but smile at his sleeping figure.
