He looks so peaceful laying on the bed. Elliott's hair is messy and knotted. He has a slight smile on his face. His eyes are open, still.

Just a few moments ago, Taylor and Elliott were talking. He died laughing. Elliott became paralyzed yesterday night so his hand gestures stopped. He didn't seem as lively.

I was walking inside the room to see Elliott but, I didn't know it was his last minutes of life, otherwise I would have said so many more things. I would have told him to say hi to my parents and let them know I miss them and love them.

Casey interrupts me from my memories. She walks through the door and immediately mimics everyone's position without noticing it. Her hands clutch together in front of her and her eyes fall. She walks over to us like a ghost, so silent she could be floating on air. We exchange a look of grief then go back to looking at Elliott.

Taylor is sobbing on the floor. She wipes her nose with her sleeve that is already soaked. Taylor walks over to Elliott and closes his eyes. The peace is restored and he looks like he is in a deep sleep except for the fact his chest isn't moving anymore. She grabs his hand in hers like she did yesterday. She isn't crying anymore, just sniffling every now and then with her eyes watery. She's crying because of Elliott but also because of herself. This means she is one step closer to being the last one dead. Whoever dies last has no one to put them in the grave and no one to morn for them. They just, die. Nothing else. No grief or sadness. No one.

Casey and Joy grab the bed Elliott is on and start to move out the door.

When everyone is outside and Elliott is on his final bed, a coffin, Taylor walks up to him. When he got the first stage of The Trojan, he wrote his will and how he wanted the funeral to go. Of course he did really didn't write and plan it all, he just changed it a bit. Everyone here knows they are going to die, so they get most of it planned out way before hand.

Taylor puts her hand on the coffin and closes it. We stand in silence so the shutting of the black and elegant last bed is loud. It represents the end of Elliott's life here on Earth and the beginning of it in heaven.

I look around at the bystanders and notice a glimmer in everyone's eyes, even Zachs. He has a soldier like face, strong and hidden, but I see a small tear working down his face. Either he is morning Elliott or he is realizing his own fate. That must be it. Zach isn't selfless or respectful enough to morn for Elliott. I guess he is realizing he is going to die soon.

With that, I walk over to Elliot and start digging to grave. I didn't really know Elliott that much but I feel like I owe it to him to at least dig his grave even though we don't have to help. Normally Zach just stands in the back or walks away but, in the corner of my eyes, I think I see Zach coming toward to grave to dig. When I turn around though, he is running in the opposite direction towards the weeping willow tree in the distance. I roll my eyes at him and go back to digging. I can't believe I thought he was going to change.
