This letter: Flash backs, important things.

Doflamingo frowned almost significantly, staring at the mini Den Den Mushi he held in one of his hands, the other hand tucked inside his pocket. It actually was the third time he called her after he moved his duty as a Shichibukai to a fourth place in his list of priorities, or at least amusing things to do, but with each and every one of those tries he had been left waiting for a long time before the snail closed his eyes again, not being able to contact Yue at all. It was not normal, and it certainly didn't left a good taste in his mouth, but the pirate just shrugged it off, looking out the window of the ship as Dressrosa came into view.

The women around him were complaining rather loudly, with 'discrete' laughs and seductive smiles gracing their perfectly decorated faces, trying to catch his attention once more, but the man didn't look twice at them, not even sideways. He brought the glass of wine to his lips, taking a long sip that after so many years doing the same thing, had no effect whatsoever on him- even if he wanted to forget the feeling that had settled in the depths of his stomach, it wouldn't be possible through alcohol. Or women.

"Where is Yue?" For some reason he couldn't quite comprehend that was the first he asked, or rather, it was the first thing he even said after he stepped inside what he could possibly call home. He didn't bother looking at the faces of the group of people that was walking behind him, following as he walked with hands still tucked inside his pockets "She hasn't picked up her Den Den Mushi, and that's not something that my good girl would normally do. Fufufufufu, is she in the garden?" Maybe not receiving response was what indicated him that something was not right.

He stopped on his tracks when no sound followed his question and then proceed to turn around, finding that those who were watching him had nervous expressions in their faces, expressions that in some cases were even contorted in concern. It was not something that you would normally see at that place, and probably that was what told him that something was definitely not right.

Doflamingo frowned slightly.

"Well?" He demanded, his voice keeping the same tone as always, even when he noticed that he still got no answer "Where is she? I'll go look for her myself"

Baby 5 was the first one to step forward, not looking at him in the eye at first. The past events started to fall in place inside of the man's mind, revealing a possibility that for some reason became clearer and clearer with each passing second. When she looked up at last, everything made perfect sense.

"Young master..."

Suddenly, Doflamingo didn't want to hear what they had to say.

But although he had turned around even before the words left her mouth, what she had in fact said as soon as his strides became wider reached his ears and followed him as he went down the hall and turned into a corner, going up the stairs as fast as he was willing to go without looking like he was running like a desperate man, which he was not, holding an aura that frightened all the servants who crossed paths with him, pressing themselves to the walls or the railings to avoid being his the man's way. Because if looks could kill they would all be dead by now.

The room was completely empty when he opened the door, but that had become a daily and common thing in the past three years. It was strange to see Yue stay inside the room, and he couldn't remember the last time he had seen her sitting on the sofa she always used when she was little- In fact, Doflamingo couldn't remember seeing her doing any of the things that she used to do when she didn't have access to the outside world. The person she had become after stepping out of that door was often unrecognizable, but her way of smiling had changed, in the maid's words, to 'better'.

Now Doflamingo thought letting her out in the first place was a mistake

The words echoed in his ears again, although the person who had said it was far away from him, and that only made him angrier than before, if that could be possible. He crossed the room, almost knocking off the furniture as he passed by them, the bases she liked so much, and the small decorations sugar had got for her at some point. After going around the table that no longer was used to hold isolated breakfasts, Doflamingo pushed the windows open with one hand, allowing the breeze to enter the room while the man clutched the wooden frame, and his hold was strong enough to turn his knuckles almost completely white.

"Miss Yue is missing"

"Well, this is not what I was expecting to see" Doflamingo was fairly aware of what had been said although there had been a buzzing on his ears since the bastards first started to kick him from all sides. The young kid struggled to open his eyes from behind the dark lenses that covered them, struggling to keep them open against the bright sunlight that shone upon him. It made him sick how bright of a day it was. But the second him he noticed was the body besides him, and not only the one from his younger brother, who he could hear sniffing- Whoever was kneeling besides him was too large to be a kid, but too slim to be a man. A grown up, a woman, whose hand holding a piece of fabric hovered over him "Are you alive, kid?

"Don't.... touch u-us...." The blonde kid's words came out as short, raspy words. There was no hiding the now not so hollow hatred on his voice, almost spitting poison despite what little strength he had left to speak and how much it hurt to even breathe. It indeed was the first time he felt pain, it indeed was the first time his stomach and strength demanded the minimum necessary food to keep his body working, but it was not going to be the first time in his life something similar happened. How that infuriated him. Closing his hands into fists with what little strength he had left, he glared at the woman like she had been the one kicking him a few moments ago, because at the end of the day they were all the same to him "W-With your....dirty h-hands"

The 'dirty hand' he so kindly referred to didn't hesitate before pressing the handkerchief on the wound of his head in one swift movement that couldn't have been less affected by his words, bringing out a wince from his mouth and another shake of his body. It wasn't particularly gentle- Actually, it wasn't gentle at all despite the nature of her intentions, but considering they had just been hit with a stick quite repeatedly, it almost tickled in comparison. The woman didn't do as much as blink when a string of rude names that no kid should know left his mouth at the contact of the fabric on her hand that most certainly stung, taking out something that looked like a bottle of some sort of medicine from her bag with the free hand that had previously positioned the little brother's head better, but the corners of her eyes did narrow ever so slightly when a sideways smile appeared on her lips at his words, settling themselves on his small sunglasses.

Somehow, the maroon colored eyes had him staring at her as she chuckled lowly, a thin smile gracing her features.

It took a while to notice, but Doflamingo found himself unable of looking away.

"I'll take that as a yes"
